Thank the lord that Quake wars is coming out.
Finally a place for all the bunny hopping, noobtoobing stat whores to migrate over to and let the real BF community finally have fun with their game.

Okay, just watched a trailer for Quake Wars. HELL YES! Game looks awesome for sure. I'll definately be picking that up. Just hope my system can handle it...

hehe..don't get your hopes up. :)
QW will be more idiot-free than BF2 ever will. Even vehicle-whoring won't be that much of a problem, since you can't complete any objectives that way. Not to mention that you won't be able to drive a tank through caves and water and other tricky places on the maps.
Being on foot is more useful in this game, though you still need them to get from one place to another fast, or to escort your mobile command post.

And there's also no stats system like in BF2, with rewards that make the game unbalanced..

That still doesn't mean that they won't be allowing all the ridiculous 1 shot kill bunny hop spamming weapons that Quake is notorious for.

omg..this is not quake. it's enemy territory, with the word 'quake' in it, cause the story is kinda based on quake
But we don't know much about weapons yet :o Maybe there is...

Im not a huge fan of this futuric shooter stuff just never liked it. I'm sticking with BF2. I only play on a few select servers that i know kick and ban all the noobs and let all the good players in. ILL NEVER TELL YOU WHAT ONE IT IS!

That AA game looks HORRIBLE, not just the graphics, I've seen/read a lot about this game, HORRIBLE is all I can say. The only game I can think of is Soldner. And I don't like OperationFP either so I wont even THINK about touching that game.. yuck..

but anyway I'll be getting Enemy Territory: QW, looks great.

yea, i dont like futuristic stuff, and i dont like no recoil gun battles, i dont like 1v1 left and right sprint duals. i dont like e.t. i dont like ID. so, yea, wont get that game. also dont like trick jumping.

Being the geek that I am, I love the futuristic Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future type fare.

I'll be buying this one for sheer giggles if nothing else.

Basically, what I read from the replies, QW is just like UT2004. The differences are: UT has bigger maps, it looks different and I rather wait for Unreal Tournament 2007 (~third quarter 2006) than playing Quake Wars.
