That sir is partially your opinion and partially RL.
DICE's intentions (for Balance) was for it to be less effective against infantry that it's RL counterpart for Balance.
Why is it so many people have issues with understanding the difference between what a weapon does in RL and what it needs to do in-game for balance purposes.
At least you seem to play the class with some integrity and not rely on 'cheap' tactics.
