With the proposed tweak in the patch that allows people to pick up mines (including AT, Claymore, and C4) by the same class, there's a new annoyance we're likely to see.
What happens when you lay down a bunch of mines, then someone comes along, desides he want's the points, picks all of yours up, puts them back, and wanders off?
Well, the obvious answer is you knife that fooktard in the face... but that's not what I'm getting at.
Currently if an enemy picks up your mines (via kit drop) and drops them elsewhere, you're going to get hit with a TK. This suggest that there's an ownership tag on the kit that doesn't change when picked up. This will likely remain true when you pick a mine up off the ground, unless the catch it and make those tags change according to who picks 'em up.
If that's the case, people are going to be in there stealing your mine kills. You know what kind of players some BF2ers are... you know this will happen.
