    Kits popularity assumption

This is my assumption of how the kits popularities will be after the patch.
Feel free to post your own views. :)

Specops: I think the C4 is being saved by the ability to pick them back - if it wouldn't be implemented i assume this kit would be pretty dead.
I believe specops will stay as common as they are now.
Assault: with min. range and removed mid-air GL, those who seek "cheap kills" won't use it anymore, however with reduced radius exprienced players might pass this kit and use the medic for assault instead, same rifle but with self healing and teamwork abilities.
Medic: Going to get the l85a1 improved which will probably line it up with the nice vanilla assault rifles or SF unlock, going to be the most common kit on servers.
Engineer: Teamkills over mines, and the slow repair points rate haven't been fixed - this kit is going to remain the rarest one.
Supply: the LMG is just like any other gun since you can instaprone and zoom. (no need for bipods setup means it's just like any other gun), the accuracy improvement will make more of the "assault" support-kit players common on servers.
Sniper: I believe the accuracy changes will mostly effect a 1v1 between another kit on medium ranges, and won't change the popularity of this kit.
Antitank: People play this kit for the AT rockets - but having the SMG's actually able to hit something will make it more appealing to people who passed it up because of it.

Summary: Lotsa medics, some supply/snipers/AT and barely any specops/engineers/assault/assault kits.

Well, for me and in my opinion, it won't be much different than it is now. If I can get in a squad w/ medics that work together, I go assault. If I can't get in a good squad, I go medic so I can heal myself. If I feel link tank whoring, I go Engineer. If I'm on an open map with tons of vehicles, I go AT.

Engineer has always been my fav. It won't change for me at least.

I mostly agree with your predictions. There will probably be a large increase in medics, to the point of what it was like in the demo before everybody had realized how strong the m203 was. As for spec ops, it will probably remain about the same. Not everybody plays spec ops so they use c4 as beefy hand grenades, but rather for it being a solid kit that can handle any situation. The fact that you can pick up the c4 now may lead to spec ops players setting up traps more often as well, as before you had to be sure an enemy was coming to avoid wasting c4.

I think that spec ops and medic classes will come in favor. Not cause they get advantages, but cause of the assault noobtube thing. They will no longer use the noobtube and seek points for reviving/healing, or seek a more accurate gun (carbines). I think support MIGHT get a bit more popular, but a bit of accuracy won't sway many people over. SNiper will get a TINY bit more popular, cause if u wanna snipe effectively, u kinda have to camp, and unlike games like CS and AA, nobody likes to camp. Engy will remain the same, i think we might see more people using the G3 cause they nolonger like teh noobtube and nades will do better. Anyways, for me, what i will do, i will play medic with the G36E more often, i will play assault with the G3 a bit, and i'll play support with the MG36 a lot.

No different than now, less tubers & c4 whores. Things will settle down a bit. That's all.

Something that you may not have factored in...

I think lots of 1337 toobers, bunnies, DDers, 'n c4 lobbers are likely to outright quit when they find their "skillz" have been taken away from them.

You'll likely see a reduction of a certain mentality of player.
We're not likely to miss 'em.

Engineers won't change. We don't do it for the points. We do it to help our team win (even if 50% of them kick us for team kills!) :)

Nice to see the engineer getting screwed over that little bit more.

Another thing to remember is that they keep adding things to that list.

I recall seeing something about IFF (Identify Friend or Foe) mines. That would definatly see more people playing engies (no more teamkills!). They could still make ajustments to the repair speed before it goes live. That would be tricky to balance tho. Fast repair speed + blackhawk = ticked off people screaming "overpowered".

This depends on what they mean by "fixed". If RoF is increased... hellya, sign me up!

If not, I'm never gonna be using it... and I'll be slightly more ticked that I accedently unlocked it.

Err, you're implying that Spec Ops are rare as is? When I play they're like frickin ants at a picnic.

For the most part, yeah. Good summary. TBH I think I'm gonna use assault more because the G3 is being improved and the nade launcher is becoming less cheap.

What ever happened to using the kit that your team needs to win the map even if you dont like it? Just becaue you are better or like one kit over another does not mean you are helping your team. Spawn with what is needed for your team learn to play it and get back to focusing on winning maps not individual scores...
