So are the support LMGs, and the sniper rifles, and the L85, it's just the noobs that go over to the EA message boards and complain all day about those weapons. I would appreciate an accuracy boost for the G3, but it's not necessary, just cause noobs think "hmm, i can't use this gun well, it can't be me, i'm awesome at BF2, then it MUST be the gun" and then they start bitching about it.

It's very inaccurate compared to the other rifles - statistically and in practice. Remember that in taking the G3, you're giving up the GL. I think DICE finally decided to give G3 users something that makes up for the loss.

WHen going full auto, it's not that bad (i'm comparing against the AK-47), but for single shot, it kinda lacks.

the G3 with extra accuracy would be nuts. I seem to chew through enemies as it is with that gun on single shot/medium range.

are they increasing the acuracy of all support guns? If they upgrade the accuracy of the PKM that will be goo as well, that gun already owns with a capital "P"

Ya, they're making the support guns better, i find them fine now, the only reason that noobs can't kill with them is cause they stand up, fire at an enemy 100m away from them, and they're not using iron sights.

No, LMGs really needs accuracy improvements, even while proning. By the time you've gunned down somone on full auto with a LMG, more than likely, you've only taken down one guy and your LMG is already overheated. This is particuarly noticeable with the SAW.

The G36E owns the G36C in close to mid range combat. The G36E has the advantage over the G36C by the rate of fire with 3 burst rounds. Just give 2-3 taps on your mouse and you will get a kill if you can keep your aim for 2-3 bursts.

As for the G3, I've always stuck with the Rifle+GL. Deviates too much for me on auto.

The MG36, is awesome, at least for me. THe mG36 doesn't overheat until 70 of it's 100 rounds are fired. Plus, i love support class, which is why i use the MG36 so much.

Seems to me, out of the LMG's, the SAW is the worst; maybe the Chinese counter part is about as bad as the SAW.. Then with the assault rifles, i would say the M16/203 and the M16 are the worst.

Got me thinking, wonder if there wasn't some favoritism on behalf of the Dice programmers. Seems the G36 and such weapons, Heckler & Koch, are top notch shooters.. (H&K being German made.).. While other weapons are sub-par...

I really enjoy the M16. I have never had a problem taking someone out with that gun in any situation. It is fairly accurate in single shot at distance and the 3 round burst works just fine in CQC. I come out on top in a fight against an AK about 50% of the time.

try using the PKM firing 2 round bursts at medium range, prone, through Ironsights. hits every time.

My other favourite use for the PKM is running around iron Gator - the amount of pain you can dish out with that weapon is insane in a corridor full of Bhopping guys too afraid to use thier noobtoobs cos they might kill thier own side

The m16s rate of fire makes up for its 3 round burst. clicking as fast as you can, you can empy an m16 magazine before an ak magazine. the m16 is my favorite AR and i think it is the best in the game. if i am not USMC i always pick it up off of dead soldiers. once you get used to the 3 round burst, it is the best rifle.

Which info? Anyways, Aeonblue, i say the G36E is better, it has burst, and the same ROF, but it does 32 damage, as opposed to 30 damage, and is more accurate than the M16. BUt, assault doesn't have it.
