TKing for vehicles on our server is a big no no, most players will share vehicles, choppers and jets with their teammates Ill grant you the fact after our brief convo you did say that you have no problems sharing as well as long as others did the same. Anyway if you think its not for you thats your right. We cant please all the people all the time
So if I see someone planting C4 on a jet, (like on Sunday on Clean Sweep) can I just shoot them?

Hey Mrs, you shouldn't ban an entire squad. Banning the players who TK and suchlike is fine, but to paint an entire squad with the same brush before you've even met 95% of them is akin to saying that all black people are muggers (or in your case as an Australian, all Abos are drunks). It doesn't make sense.

When Nastie says that all BSF have the same ideals, he means that we all excel by use of teamplay, which is why we almost never lose a game when we play together on a server.

I don't know you, but if you're part of a clan then why not challenge us to a match. All of our matches to date have been friendly affairs. You can pick the maps and rules. Just tell us when and where.

Edit - I had just joined your server as Nastie said that some guys on it were up for a fight, then *poof*, I got kicked 10 seconds later. It was disappointing. It's much more fun when people are up for a good battle and some banter.

No you don't you tell an admin and we will deal with it. If you tk a tk'er it makes you a tk'er as well.

People seem to think that admin's can watch every single player on the server. We can't. We rely on what we personally see. We rely on being informed by other players and then investigating.

Common complaints are this guy just tk'ed me. OK we need to know this, but we didn't see it and quite often the person who cries tk, tk'ed them 1st and the guy who was originally the innocent party then becomes the tk'er. People quite often lie to us to try and get back at someone. That's why we will review the BR footage at the end of the round because BR doesn't lie. If we look in BF2CC we will see that both of these guys crying tk has a tk against their name.

Here's another one. This guy just punished me are you going to kick him. How do you expect us to know what happened? People get the ****s because we haven't kicked this guy already when this is the 1st we know about it. The no tkpunish for an accident or one's own fault is merely a gentlemen's agreement of how you will behave. Its a guidline of how we would appreciate people to behave on our server and its quite successful for the most part.

Another example. Someone is breaking the no attacking uncaps rule. Unless we are at the uncap and experience it we have no idea that it has ocurred. Again we don't have a crystal ball. We only have the same resources bar BF2CC to watch the game. If this happens and we don't see it what we do is kill ourselves. Join the same side as the player committing the offence and watch them. 9/10 its a plane raping an uncap without all flags being taken. So once dead and on the right side we click somewhere on the spawn screen so we don't spawn. We close the spawn screen down and then cycle through the players using the C key until we get to the offender and then watch them. If we see them breaking are rule they are warned 1st. Once they have been warned we continue to watch. If they continue to break the rules they will be kicked with the appropriate reason which will be displayed to the offender as the pb kick reason.

That game variable was talking about I had just joined the game to "play" not to admin. I never want to admin, I am forced to admin. You know that I actually want to play this game and not have to admin? He was kicked for red tag bug in which "nobody" has "ever" complained except for him. I spent half the round dealing with him and another guy complaining about someone he ran over and then they tkpunished him. Variable please understand its not personal its never personal but you have to carry on and question the admin's decision for kicking you. Its simple you had a red tag, you know you had a red tag. You were told not only be my but by many players but you didn't have the decency to leave the game and rejoin. Guess what happened after you left? I could actually play and there were no more problems and everyone enjoyed themselves. END OF STORY!

Admining is neither enjoyable or a power tripping exercise. Its a pain, drain, not enjoyable, a chore, however you want to put it I hate to admin but its necessary for the enjoyment of all players to ensure someone kicks the people who are disrupting gameplay. Nothing more, nothing less.

                    Yay for maturity! :)

Glad this thread didn't get ruined there, would've been a shame.

Had another good game this morn, Special Forces this time, Ghost Town. Not sure who it was but my SL was talking all the time, although he was very distorted. Only about 20 players on, so had a chance to try the helicopters for a change, had a good laugh :)

Server has a high but also very constant ping. I'll try to join tonight :)
(I ping it at 200-205 ms constant, and I live in central Europe)

I'll let you know how it goes for sure :)
But I'm not really worried because if the ping is constant then there shouldn't be any issue I believe. BF2's netcode, and server-side prediction are able to handle high pings if the server is good.

Hmmm...seeing that it's located in the US, maybe my ping won't be too bad. I guess I'll check it out sometime.
