The time is fine, id rather play then wait for "UbErL33Tss8766" to join, if it takes to long to load for you either buy a new pc or lower your settings that simple, its the admins right to pick the times not yours

if I remember right all ranked servers spawn and map start times are to remain at default and not to be changed..

unranked can be set to whatever..

People mess with the settings of ranked servers all the time, this would be no different.

Right and Wrong!

Spawn times have to remain at 15secs for Ranked servers but the delay for map starts can be set to whatever you like.

Hmm, its not fair people with newer PC's get an advantage, but its ok to penalise them for spending the money?

I used to have an old rig, and it was irritating to have 3 minutes of DC over before I even started. On the same token though there is nothing more annoying than 20 guys spawning at the heli pad, and one guy getting in earlier than the others seems to fix that.

I paid good money for my rig, why should I sit there for 45 seconds waiting for you to catch up?

Get fast RAM, Hardware and Run RAID 0 or stay on the porch.

Scenery never changes for second best.

It's kind of too bad that the loading times are very long. That is why I run the fastest possible rig to burn thru the bullcrapth and get playing.

I have had the pleasure of artying people who just finished loading into the game by the dozen.

Having said that, other game makers over the years do set a time limit up to 2 minutes allowing us to plan before the map starts.. guess what. fast gamers are still first in.

Hard truth.. upgrade and run with the best or get out of gaming.

no way, i love being the first or second person on a server...its sweet, i get first pic for any vehicle.

Yea I'm with you. With my new comp I load in less than 15 seconds and it is awesome being first in!

Some really selfish answers here lol. Asking for an extra 15 seconds spawn time isn't really too much to ask to ensure everyone has a better chance of enjoying a possibly better, more balanced game.

Myself I load in one of the first when I don't take a break for a wizz but I'm clueless so that helps no one (including myself).

this isnt a question or matter of "buy a new pc lol !!1!" but simply a matter of fair play. You cant seriously ask everyone to buy new ram/cpu whatever.

I dont care if i dont get a vehicle or not , or being commander (dont get me wrong , my load time is fast enough to get both most of the time) but its unfair to those who spawn 5 secs later and dont even have the choice anymore to apply as commander , or cant even try to wina sprint to a vehicle (let alone getting a drive since all vehicles are already far from baes lol).

I concur.
Just cause you decided to waste a bunch of money on a "fast rig", doesnt mean you should get rewarded for it by the game.
The game is about who's better than who, not who spawns before who.

I just wish they disable all that spam before the game starts like Page up/Page down stuff.

And they could reduce all that stuff a medic says when he gets revived.
Eg. You could hear him but the text wouldn't show up in the text box, same goes for ammo ect.

As for spawn time yes, 30 secs would be nice. Either that or give me a better Pc.

Im 40. Built my rig 2 years ago and upgrading since.

Planning new rig for 2006-2007 gaming season.

Gaming is a hobby. It costs money to enjoy the best it can offer. In order to do that you need a computer rig (And a connection) that can stand up to the battle.

The rest simply just find themselves lagged out, too late loaded or otherwise disadvantaged. Dont come here and cry about being too slow.
