U look like the 12 year old here, we don't take this kind of behavior. People like me that have been here before BF2 came out actually know that randomly flaming and giving pretty much false info doesn't get u respect.
Who am I randomly flaming? This kid is claiming the most asinine $hit I've ever heard about dogfighting in this game! Are you just holding his hand because you 2 are advocates of the J-10 and I **** on the PLA weapons and vehicles? Quit being biased and tread elsewhere. This kid is the only moron I've come across worth being flamed on this site in quite awhile, and I refuse to let show the disrespect and stupidity he has because he got lucky once with the guns on his corny @$$ j-10 and thinks he has a chance with Heidi Klum

now lemme tell u what was wrong in ur so called TIPS.

first, gunning a jet down does NOT take the whole round to do it, unless u cant hit anything and all ur cannon bullets go into the water. if u do it effectively, u can shoot down a jet with the cannon in 10 seconds. dont give me some crap like "i know what works", WHAT worked in ur 41 jet kills?

second, u dont just freakin lock on, wait for the flares going off, then fire. if u dont take speed, angle, distance and many other things into account, 99% of ur missiles will miss the target, and more likely they will hit ur friendly air assets. and again, dont tell me u dont even know that.

        owned? satisfied? bye.
LMFAO !!!!!!!!! U actually went and looked up my stats? Like I said, I'm an INF squad leader so this Tactical Air $hit is quite unimportant in my world. Second, so you mean to tell me you get more kills with your guns than your AA missles? LOL, thats pretty sad and your obviously the noob who doesn't understand when to switch from guns, and when to fire the AA's. The guns are for mobile and stationary targets on the ground and can help in the air, but by no means are the guns superior over the AA's for engaging bogies. I don't have to be a 24/7 pilot to know this, I did plenty of flying with my previous accounts and have flown with guys who pulled $hit off I would have never imagined so do I need you delinquents telling me what works and what doesn't? negative, and have any of the forums members with credible AA records posted on this thread yet to back you bozos up? negative. I'll be the adult here and leave u 2 to drop some more knowledge on the world since you both seem to have your MBA's in aeronautics from the University of BF2

if somebody has a lock/missile launch try and find some of those Oil things that attract the head sensors, they help

              1. Use lock on missiles only when your close and certain.

              2. Miss-direction, turning left and then turning right, or an old classic... Pull back like your going to do a loop de loop but push forwards when your get to your highest arc before going upside down.

              3. Go round and round in circles, annoying as hell to any good fighter pilot because it's just laughable.

Fly in a loop , bail out at the top of the loop, fall onto their plane. Pull out gun and shot the cockpit up , killing pilot. Then jump in their plane and take off.....man I should be developing games......

I haven't actually looked at that part of the code, but I've nailed people like that before also. I'm kind of thinking that there is a very small gap between the glass and the body somewhere. And under the right circumstances a bullet will squeeze in between there and get a nice easy kill. Guess I will need a guinee pig to sit in a jet for me someday and I can stand around and try shooting around the perimeter of the glass with a pistol and see if I can hit him lol.

The glass thing kind of reminds me of a similar problem in Tactical Ops, I used to do it to **** people off on a map called Trainstation, They'd be camped in the building on the upper floor by some hostages, I'd sit on the other side of some unbreakable glass and shoot them through the minute gap between the window and the building so that they'd move their asses lol.

We should probably also get people into realizing that the missiles and the guns are all really just cookie cutter jobs. The bullets are all the same and the missiles are really all the same ****, just different visual models representing their respective nations armaments (if that is even right to begin with).
