Jumping and throwing handgrenades won't be possible!?!?!?

Hello!

I read and fully understood changes such as not being able to jump and use c4 and grenadelauncher. But why oh why do they want to remove throwing handgrenades while jumping?? This is one of the most stupid ideas of change I've ever heard since that has nothing to do with the c4 and grenadelauncher exploits. Jumping and throwing grenades should still be possible since you can't throw grenades over far distances or up on high roofs if they remove it. A lot of the accuracy in throwing grenades will be lost aswell, which now is an advantage for non assault/c4 classes which provides more balance in play etc. Hope someone who's in charge of this change reads and understands this oppinion..!

Here's the thing, when you click to throw the grenade, it takes a moment before it actually gets thrown, you can't throw something while you're in mid-flight, but what's stopping you from jumping AFTER you're already started the throwing animation ?

Besides, what kind of douche jumps and then presses fire with a handgrenade in hand ? You'll be back on the ground before you even throw it, no gain.

I believe a DICE guy said no more jumpthrowing grenades either. Sucks but thats the price we pay to eradicate spastic noob kiddies so I'll deal just fine.

No jumping with C4 will suck, thats one of the things i love most to do . Allows you to actually throw C4 more than 3 feet.

Bobcat, I really hope you are right.. If you are not and the throwing then jumping don't work i will get so disappointed at DICE.. :hmm: But logically this should work after the patch.

I suppose so but I think BF is more similar to R6 then to SF game like Quake. Anyway Quake Wars is coming out soon so you will be very happy with it.

quake wars is too sci-fi heheh i like q1 for the evil ambience and its SPEEEEEED anywho, i like quake and BF in different ways they are really different games the only thing in common is that u see a gun walking in front of u :P
