You mean ever...chances are after 1.4, bf2 will be forgotten in light of bf2142. there might be one more patch, but I already can see the decline in support of the game in favor of moving on to 2142

Yup, I have a 2005FPW Dell and need 1680x1050 support without doing my little SZW hack for width and then the height. Its just stupid that a game so popular as this one does not support it.

Get with the times and support it I am tired of every time I switch over from SF to Vanilla of having to close the program and then restart with the widescreen triggers.

Widescreen is here to stay with more ppl getting widescreens daily!

The only kinda HDTV I'm gonna buy better either have DVI or HDMI, I'd prefer the DVI since DVI to HDMI are just way to over priced like most media center cables.

Nope, just make sure you know what resolution your plasma TV can handle and set that up beforehand.

It may even have a DVI input meaning you can go straight from DVI from your video card to the TV.

Simple ViewSonic VA2012wb 20" Widescreen, but any HDTV I get from now on (and that maybe sooner then later cause I got no TV right now) will be widescreen and you bet your sweet *** I'm gonna hook my PC up to that. You'd figure EA/DICE would keep stuff like HDTVs in mind.
