it's not really politicaly correct. Giving people that notion that american, mighty american, could ever be invaded. I admit it would be awsome, but it would never happen. Mods, maybe. EA, no.

What makes you so high and mighty? The scenarios in BF2 are fake but somewhat likely. If it's likely enough that the USA is fighting against the PLA in China then it's just as likely that China be invading the US.

Lol, it's a dream I have you know. Again urban combat is one of the favorites among Bf2 players. If better comps come out that can hold it and play it and stuff, I just wish.

Someone mentioned something about a strip mall in an urban environment. Drool. Las vegas sounds fun. Both could be combined, obviously- Casinos, flashy neon lighting and such. Sounds more like an SF map to me though.

Yeah, I'm surprised no mod teams have been working on this. And they already have a mod for everything like the "OMG I just made the shotguns do more damage and repalced the trees in Songhua stalemate" mod or the classic "Now the loading screen music is different and Kubra Dam has another flag plus the USMC attack helicopters get 1 less rocket!!!!!!!1" mod.

I mean, an American urban location would require A LOT of modelling...but an artic desert wouldn't be too hard.

Fair enough but why would they betrayed as anti-American? Are they portrayed as Anti-Chinese? Anti-middle eastern? Didn't mean to jump on you but there's just so much patriotic bigotry on this game, it's my sweet spot.

The US is just another country. Maybe on that note you're right and simply referring to the bigots that would be somehow offended by it. Oh well. Again, I apologize!

Something like this would actually be a lot less ambitious than many existing mods out there. Since an expansion can re-use a lot of existing content, you could get some good mappers together with a few modelers and coders and put together a map pack with a small selection of new weapons and vehicles, and you've got something on par with SF.

i don't tihnk hoover dam would be very good seeing as how there's already Kubra Dam... snowy kinda like Seattle would be a cool map. I tihnk NYC would bog down people's CPU's because they seemed to have done that with SF. Swampy like Florida wwould be good aswell.

ahhh yess ive been saying this forever... especially one at night with all the lights and spectacles (the water show infront of the mirage, the pirate show infront of that hotel as well ect) would be reallllllllyyyy coooooollll plus run in a lobby or two!!

this would be one expansion pack i would definatly buy if they did it right

L.A. In the wake of Tookie's death, chaos breaks out in L.A.'s streets only to be interrupted when the Chinese plan an invasion and the some ****ed off Crips and Bloods have to team up in order to fight off the Chinese menace before they can capture key LA ports.

Mexico- Another where the Mexican Special Forces are invading from South Mexico and going for key boarder controls and the Boarder agents, along with the help of theTexas Rangers, have to fight them off before the getr across the boarder.

New York City- The Russian Special Forces(Russian Mafia) supplied intel to the motherland and plan an invasion on Italian Mafia controlled territory and with the help of some mad as hell New Yorkers, the Italians have to defend the inner part of the city.

Georgia- The Chinese are going for key cotton fields in the South, and with the help of their new shotgun technology which includes the Jackhammer and Dao-12, KKKSF(Klu Klux Klan Special Forces) have to successfully fend off the Chinese attacks until more KKK reinforcements can reach them from their other southern outposts or risk loosing another battle.

Kansas- MEC Special Forces parashoot into Kansas in a move to take the center of the U.S. only to find nothing is there. Since the terrain is similar to their homeland, they have an advantage and must successfully defend set up outpost against the advancing farmers in the area or risk losing their entry point.

Iowa: US forces are on top of a barn and hick forces are bombarding them with everything they got. US troops need to keep a careful eye on enemy forces creeping through the corn field.

Wash. D.C.: Allied forces are trying to prevent a terrorist attack from reaching the president. US forces must escort the president to Air Force One, killing off all the MEC forces on the way.

New Orleans: US troops have been deployed after Hurricane Katrina. You must kill all the thugs with automatic weapons and stop the looting. Shoot to kill.

I know its hypothetical, but
China and the U.S would never have an open military conflict. The losing side would most likely go for their nukes and then everybody loses.
The modern battlefield exists in one's conscience.
