yes that SmartClose does look pretty good with some extra features but--you will have to install it in your computer and it writes down extra things to your registry, so, it slows up your computer even more! :P

Simply click on ProEnd.exe and then it will run, doesn't affect anything other then the folder that it was run in--

Are there some processes under user that should not be ended such as the taskmgr.exe and some others?? Explorer.exe I think is another one that should not be ended.

I would suggest going to blackviper.com and reading his excellent tutorial on this but it appears to be down. This is the first thing I do everytime I install a copy of XP and I always end up with only 80-100MB of used memory on boot.

I sceptical about downloading this. I've had trojans before that have done nasty things to my PC. And the fact you are hosting it on anonsurf also makes me suspicious.

Gungo, I can assure you that no trojans or anything "bad" is in the program. It is hosted on anonsurf because its a site I got and its paid hosting--Better then rapidshare?

Even though, I've added all of the files included in the file to the server one by one. If you find that one of them dissapears after time that would mean that there is something "bad" in it and my hosting provider's antivirus deleted it.

I dunno why ProEnd would do that-- It was coded and tested on Windows XP but I'm almost sure that every bf2 player uses xp?
There are 2 possible reasons that i thought of why this might be...
-If you installed a program similiar to ProEnd then it might have changed to registry so that the following command will have slightly different affects when run. The code ProEnd uses is pretty straightforward and is probably what other programs use and they are also probably coded with VisualBasic which is what I used so, that might affect?
-Another program might be trying to stop ProEnd from working because when a program ends another process it is usually seen as a virus type thing...

Those are my best guesses, other then that--Your situation is very unique.

Its ok its just sometimes I forget I have this awsome program and I start shuting hing down. Yes I use windows xp and I noticed its an issue with Mcafee

I had Mcafee but then later on uninstalled it because of all of the negative things that it did...

Okay so I could just type in Norton AntiVirus 2005 and it will get the job done? Because I could always go to task manager.

As far as I understand you just enter the name of the program the way it shows up in the task manager. like subseven.exe, 1337downloader.exe, sexywallpaper.exe etc.
you get the idea
You do it once, then it saves it and you can do it with one click instead of going into task manager.
