Thing is, in America, we don't strap bombs to our ass and blow ourtselves up in war.

This is not real life. This is not a real war. This is not America. This is not a Democracy. This is a game called Battlefield 2. The game world permits us to strap C4 explosives to our cars and blow stuff up. If you cannot understand the difference then you are in a dire situation indeed.

Our military is about bringing men and women back, not jihading..

So, Keeping yourself alive is very much a part of our military strategy..

No kidding this is a game. In case you didn't realize the track of this thread broke off into 2 directions. I covered both sides, the game side, and the real life side of the arguments...

As for the game, i obviously must repeat myself to you AGAIN.. I said, i don't like jihad jeeping in game, BUT i also said i didn't care if anyone wanted to do it, because i haven't even been a victim of a jihad jeep since about teh 2nd day the game came out.. My other point in regards to jihad jeeps and servers was- if a person pays for a server they can make any rule they wish..

So shove the insults..

I am definitely not the only one bringing up real life situations in this thread. When i initially did bring up real life examples of suicide bombing, it was to express why i have a dislike for suicide bombing in game.. But since none of it was really pointed at you, you could have avoided it by not making offensive comments..

It would have been a hell of alot more relevant of a debate if you had the ability to refrain from insults..

Any tank whore who charges foward to try to get more kills before the rest of the team deserves to get jihaded by buggies/ATVs, they bitch and cry about it but if they stuck with their infantryman like they're supposed to someone on their team with AT or noob tube could take out the jihadi before he gets to the tank. You gotta constantly evaluate the situation and make decisions before you hold your W key and head straight for enemy flags cuz you just might get your ass blown to bits.

If ya' don't. Then this topic is officially over. I can understand the thread starters position. Yet, I feel that "Hopping", "D.Diving", "Jihad Jeep'ing?", and "Suicide Bombing" of all types are retarded and grounds for banning someone. So, I side with the admins. You pay for the server, you make the rules (once again, as long as those rules don't lead to cheating/statpadding).

Go get your reason somewhere else. The topic poster has already stated that he knows admins can do whatever they please so stop bringing that server god crap up.

Does it make you feel better to be killed by infantry on foot C4ing you versus getting rammed with a vehicle with C4 on it?

You are absolutely right.

I just think that if a tank does not see a jeep driving at him, and can't hit it then he deserves to die. Plus he was probably standing still.

Last night I was playing Dragon Valley on the US side. We lost all our spawns and the enemy had his chopper in the air. MAN this chopper team didecided the game. Totally. I mean they literally raped us. I had 12 deaths at the end of the one round, and 10 came from the chopper. Even though I was trying to avoid contact with the chopper. I was sniping, ATing, engineering but nothing helped. For some reason he always knew where I and all my other teammates were. Guess they had a good commander spotting targets for them.

My point is, we were so desperate, and we had no chance what so ever to bring him and his gunner down. None of us was a match for him in the chopper, and his TVMs were devestating to all our armour and air assets.
If I'd had ANY way to bring him down, even if it was using an idiotjeep I would've done it. Even if it would have meant to die many times.

But it was different. It was just like this invincible flying box killing all the smurfs... Pilot had about 120 teamworkpoints, gunner had ca. 60 kills. They both died ONCE the whole game. They wouldn't even let us get out of main base. Very frustrating experience, and believe me I HATED those guys during the rounds we got smacked.
Those were some really good players, but the game got very unbalanced, and I can immagine that it wasn't even fun for the other team anymore because chopper was doing everyone's job.
