I used fraps.... INsted of Haveing to Upload a 50 MB file, I sized it down to a 2.5 MB file.

That's why i said save it as a movie file in movie maker so it will be that small. Plus you get full quality sound.

Ya, the other guy is like, "haha, i know where the 1 shot is" and we're like "where is it then?" he says "i'm not telling, its a secret" then we say "omg, ur not going to die if u tell us, just tell us please" and he's like "no, i just wanna make u suffer" I don't get why people wanna keep it a secret anyways, it's not like it is a exploit or cheat.

That won't work during a round in progress. Hitpoints before a round starts aren't the same as when the round is going.

For instance, you can destroy a radar or uav bunker with a tank before the round with just 2 or 3 shots. But during the round, you can sit there all day and fire at the uav and it will not even smoke.

I don't think he knew where it was. My theory is that he got owned in game, so he started controversy to get someone else to reveal it.

This spot supports my theory on this being a sort of "exploit" (only for lack of a better word) of the ricochet calculations the game does. Has anyone tried making the tank shell projectile not have any ricochet component and see if this still works? The tank shell material (and the shell having a base damage of 500) doesn't have a damage mod of 2 on any of the materials mapped on any tank, so that leads me to my ricochet theory on why this happens. (and before the trolls post on this, I'm not trying to say this is rigged, I'm trying to EXPLAIN the phenomenon)

Takes 24+ hits but it will explode.

Ok, i tried it on a local server, the first time i tried to replicate it, it worked, i was AMAZED, it just blew up immediatly. Then, i couldn't get it again for some reason. Te closest i got was i hit it near where it was in the video, and it went flaming, then exploded. How do i do it exactly right every time?

Should be interesting to see how this fares on the pubs, because there is more than one way to do it and when you are in the Abrams, it is easy to not put yourself in that situation.

All you have to do is ask -=wKa=-Dekoth when I told him and how it works, he won't tell you how it works, but he will probably assure you that he has known about it for roughly three months now. Or you can ask Hu.Z, I let him in on it before this thread took place

BTW, there is no difference whether a person is in the tank or not, there is not a single line in existence in the tweak file for the tank (or any other tank) in this game that states that.

EDIT: Plus, i've already asked Hu.Z, he wouldn't give up. Why won't people just say how to do it, seriously, if only a group of people know how to do it, eventually people will start complaining to EA and they will take it out totaly. WHy don't we just let EVERYBODy know it, and then nobody will get mad and complain to EA.

Because he doesn't know and it makes him feel special to pretend. If you really wanted to keep it a secret, you wouldn't let on about it at all.

This happens because that spot of the tank has a material applied that will take more damage from a projecitle hit then the other materials applied to the tank.It's realistic though since in real life the drivers cockpit is one of the weakest areas.

In real life, the top is the weakest, hence the the new TOW 2 and Javelin missiles are top attack. Also teh SRAW is too, but of course that would unbalance the game.

If and when anyone other than me ever publically states how it is done, I want you to go through each and every thread that ever had this topic in and start quoting me in every thread I ever said it had to do with simple geometry and physics. Then tell everyone that you admit I was right, so I can have some amusement. Actually, make a thread dedicated to saying I was right, now that would make me feel special.
