i fly a jet and also comand sometimes... when the other team's pilots suck tough... preety good to know comander comes take out the tank (with precision) thats capin flag, instead of the arty, that doesn't even kill armor most of the time.. *tip, i use the como rose... to drop arty/UAV as requested, and suplies..

as almost all stats of all other players :) it is a game, game that i enjoy and try to not ruin for others. i DO NOT consider being a 1-man squad ruining it for anyone. but i have to admit that some accidents of explosive nature did happen, thus these two bans i have...

as for the repairing stuff - commander is a engineers job. so i have a wrench on my own, and in most cases a handy truck to do a driveby repairs. engineers are simply non existing in most cases. in is sad to see N/A in best' engineers score. and it hapens often. on some maps it happens almost everytime.

ps. riding a tank is mostly a one man' job.. and i ride it alot recently, that with a need of reammo and fast repairs means being a sl. simple.

Okay, I've read all of this guy's posts in this thread; and I want to tell the rest of you to stop flaming him! Squad leaders are given the ability to call in resupplies, they are given points for the position they created, and all of this is accomplished IN THE GAME. And while we're at it, let's stop whining about plane whores, chopper whores, armor whores, n00b-tubers, bunny hoppers, dolphin divers, and stat whores. The game give them the ability to do the things they do, so why shouldn't they be able to do it?!

I admit, my stats are nowhere near yours in comparison. You probably have 10 or 12 times my kills, have a k:d ratio much better than mine, and one heckuva lot more medals than I do; but there is one thing, just as real as you stats, that you don't have: that's the respect of the community.

Play how you will, but keep in mind that your actions will be remembered and will reflect on you as a person.

There is no need to become mad because if you order people they still do not do what you ordered. Like I told a squad today to defend and two of them jumped in their own APC's and went to two different flags, two went who knows where, one followed me, and one was on the carrier so I booted him.

I often go SL for the green text and supply request capabilities. It makes it easy to spot kills with peripheral vision while still keeping an eye on the action (especially useful for indirect kills that you can't confirm with a corpse, ala grenades).

The crate request is a big sore point with me, as I've NEVER had an SL who would request them for me.

i requests supplies when a member asks for it, its just up to the commander if he will do that... (which is almost never)

During my time as a Commader I've probably killed 10 ppl and have just been running from my hide to the spec-ops guy trying to blow my gear up. That's what a CMDR should do imo, i.e. fully concentrate on commanding and only fight when there is an absolute necessity.

Too bad I can't command often since my ranking aint high*sighn*

As for good squadleaders I've maybe played with hmmm....10? good ones
Hate when I spawn next to a ****ty one and he go like:"go away, mind your own business" Those guys are only good as mobile spawn points

end of discussion. dont like me being sl? form/join other team. spamming communications for orders leads me to abandon current team and create another, if you follow accidents are going to happen. of explosive nature.

...AGREED , Im a good squad leader but I find it funny how many players post topics here because they disagree with how OTHER players play the game.. especially on silly nonesense like squad leader when they can either leave the squad and create a new one or join an existing squad with a leader they "approve of"-pfft. 1 of the options always exists. Too many losers cant play the game without complaining how SOMEONE ELSE plays the game.

i do both of these. dont like it? get out of my squad and form your own. i form a squad because i need 100hr as a squad leader AND because i can call for supply crate. dont like it? join oposing team, as im not going to change it as i frankly dont care about what other [unwanted] members of my team think about it. i also dont like when my squad members are asking me for orders, when i see them doing lone wolving. why i dont lock my team then? bc a) it is 'elitistic' and im not an elitistic prick b) somebody might need to join me, spawn on me, and forget about me when im somewhere interesting. i also never kick members from my team, but tell them to shut up or leave, when they try to tell me what should i do. form you own team if you cant stand it.

as for commadner, i sit in aa/ground defence to 'earn' many hours needed for certain badges, i hope you can live with it. never, ever leave my main as a commander, someone has to defend my own tools, as nobody is ever going to help me repair [faster than 3 crates] them
