I hope not. I often jump and throw grenades, as well as jump to get distance on health/ammo packs.

Are you serious? The C4 toss is an exploit even more effective than noob tubing. It's the ONLY infantry fighting technique top CAL teams like TFS currently use.

When combined with marco-diving, it's unstoppable.

If you've ever seen it in action, I'm certain you'd willing to sacrifice a grenade toss to be rid of it. The "fire" button should be locked during a jump, period.

Just make it so C4 can't be thrown when jumping, and leave grenades and packs alone.

it kinda makes sense to remove the jump shoot throw tactic

you cant do anything while sprinting but jump or crouch

why the hell should you be able to shoot while jumpping and if iwoulda been seen throwing grenades while jumping to make it go an extra 50 feet i woulda been laughed outa the military dont see many quarterbacks or outfielders jumping in the air to make their long bombs it just doesn't work

Grenades were effective as is, c4 has a hugeeeeeeeeeeeee blast raidius. Its like your own mini Artillery. Think of it that way.

I'm just afraid THEY WONT fix it. Bunny hopping has been an issue since the game first came out. Most of the problems could have been fixed with 1.12.

Out of curiosity, I did some experimenting and was able to replicate the C4 insta-det (using TAW_Ender's suggestion). The thing that I don't understand, though, is how people don't take damage from it. I was losing about half of my health every time I did the insta-det. And, yes, I was waiting for the C4 to get at its furthest point away from me.

Im with |ass| they should let you jump and throw ammo/health packs AND nades but not c4. I mean come on even if its not realistic nades just don't go far enough if you don't jump.

Moron, lease bind your alternate fire key to "E", or other accessible kepy. As soon as you toss, you should be able to hit and hold "E" while pressing the "Fire" key to detonate in mid-air.

Your character may throw another C4 during the process, but it quickly dissapears. This may be due to lag, or a bug, whatever. Regardless, you can detonate C4 in mid-air with this technique.

It's essential for taking out opponents behind walls, behind corners, destroying moving vehicles as they pass, blowing up clusters of infantry in a flag radius, etc. Every specops should know how to use this.

The more people who whore explosives, grenade launchers, and dolphin diving, the quicker the game degenerates into a sort of UT2004 with modern combat character/vehicle skins.

No hacking involved. No macro involved. Some thought might be necessary, that's probably what's holding you guys up.

100 % right. I just tested this out. Got a score of 60 on Karkand. Ran around bunny hopping till i detonated.

I have to say, this is the most ********, **** weak, cheapest technique out there. Seriously, I'm suprised people didn't figure this out eariler.
