with a little practice on singleplayer after reading this thread I now can blow the c4 up while in the air. Its safest to blow it up just before it hits the ground. If you blow it up anytime before then you will hurt yourself really badly. The last package of c4 is deadly too cause the detonator comes out right away. Its all time the timeing. You dont need to be as fast as you might think. theres no binding of specialkeys or secret hacks that some people might think there is.

yea i tried it in singleplayer too, (i think that was my first or second time playing singleplayer ever since i got the game.) actually it's pretty easy to do it in singleplayer. (much easier then i thought, didnt even take time to practice) so now the question comes to internet connection. is it because of lag, so alot of ppl experience the C4 "bug"? cuz that "bug" doesnt happen at all in singleplayer.

true i just tried it in a multiplayer game and its harder. I usally drop 2 and kill myself. Singleplayer thought it is easy to duplicate.

So far I've seen people in this thread say its a hack, other say its timing, others say you need practice.

I think |ass| said something about using a different key to detonate or something which made a lot of sense. I know that c4 bug is due to lag, without it detonate fines, but the strange thing is I've seen people just detonate it so quick. For me by the time I get out the detonater and click, I would have said 2.5 seconds have passed.

These people when I checked didn't have a lower ping than me, all around 60.

So how did they counter the bug, IM really curious about how they can switch so quick. Thats where all the points like, the switching.

I've seen them bunny hop and by the time you've seen him and then he's throw the c4, your dead. I tried switching and it just wouldn't work when I right clicked. Instead more c4 drops, sometimes the detonater shows up but when I click I see c4 in my hand.

Once more, the "C4 Glitch" is an animation bug. The plunger does not need to be on screen to detonate C4. Binding to another key allows for a quick toss, a quick press of "e", followed by a left mouse click while holding down "e".

If performed correctly, you won't even see the detonator. Instead, you'll simply bring up another C4 to toss.

So its sorta like the pull out weapon thing ?

When lets say you pull our a pistol, you will see an animation but if you begin shooting and its still animating, you wont see the pistol fire but you will register hits ?

Gets them what, like 80 kills a round on a c4 player Kharkand Loop, better than running around with a LMG. And its fun blowing up things.

and 2 packets of c4 should never never be enough to take out a tank mabe disable a track but damn it takes at least 2 hits from a tank to down a crappy chopper but a c4 charge demolish a fully armoured tank

like it or not, get used to it, when they kill shooting when jumping and dolphin diving in the next patch, the noob tubing will go down and c4ing will go up. fact is pubbers will continue to bitch till they finally get their gold medal, by sitting in a corner doing nothing.

hopefully the "Cant shoot while jumping" in the new patch applies to everything, meaning not only to the primary weapon but any other weapon. Such as jumping and throwing a C4 pack.

I hope not. I often jump and throw grenades, as well as jump to get distance on health/ammo packs.

Yeah i do that too, but its only way i think they can code it easily, since the GL isn't a primary weapon, yet, i think it applies to it as well.

So one has to expect you can't jump and fire anything anymore. Which i kind of like, since jumping is now just more focused to getting around obsticles.
