I don't know, seems like a hack is out there. I noticed it a couple times, especially on the map I got my purple heart on. One guy was going around tossing c4 and immediately detonating it before it hit the ground. He did this several times in a row and it was getting very frustrating for my team. There is no way he could have tossed four c4 and switched to the detonator that fast.

I say it's a hack.

what aren't you getting here? its very easy to do , i just posted how to do it , using the technique you could set it off before it barely leaves your hand.. its not a hack and easy to do if you know what your doing. its people like you who cry hack before they even know what they are talking about

I've tried it your way and it has never worked for me. So yeah, I call a hack because that's what I think it is. Especially considering the glitch where if you switch to the detonator too fast you toss another c4 out.

when u quick-switch to detonator after u have thrown out a C4, it will automatically switch ur detonator back to C4 before u could hit the left mouse button. so it always ends up with throwing another C4. i dont know why some ppl say it's an illusion. at least it's not for me. there's actual one more c4 on the ground. if u detonate like that, u will blow up both of the C4's. the explosion is not an illusion either, cuz it actually does kill ur teammates or urself.

yeah whenever i use c4 and try to do that quick switch it always throws another c4. I've tried as fast as I can and I dont think I'm doing it to slow because I do the same thing in css with the awp. If you play css you will know what I am talking about, "the quick scope".

a trick is to blow 4 of your C4's ... when you drop the last c4 it will change automatically to the detonator... but you will have to resupply.

I know a pro C4 whore; he bunnyhops, drops the C4, explodes it in mid air (!) and doesn't die... I wonder how he does it.

lol...This is why I am being a sniper. Stay away some crazy dudes with C4 toys. They spent them like there is no tomorrow, but the method works. As for a sniper, just give me some distance and I will do him a service.

Moron, please bind your alternate fire key to "E", or other accessible key. As soon as you toss, you should be able to hit and hold "E" while pressing the "Fire" key to detonate in mid-air.

Your character may throw another C4 during the process, but it quickly dissapears. This may be due to lag, or a bug, whatever. Regardless, you can detonate C4 in mid-air with this technique.

It's essential for taking out opponents behind walls, behind corners, destroying moving vehicles as they pass, blowing up clusters of infantry in a flag radius, etc. Every specops should know how to use this.

The more people who whore explosives, grenade launchers, and dolphin diving, the quicker the game degenerates into a sort of UT2004 with modern combat character/vehicle skins.

This actually works in our favor, as it's likely to bring about a patch quicker. Exploitation of the game is something I encourage, please do this mercilessly on offical EA servers.

(Everyone who plays serious league games will be using this tactic, it trumps all, even grenade whores.)

No hacking involved. No macro involved. Some thought might be necessary, that's probably what's holding you guys up.

The right mouse button simply doesn't work as well as binding to another key.

But once you get the timing and control set up down, you can toss C-4 like footballs, and detonate them at chest height on your opponent. You can nail ATVs as they pass by you, or destroy light vehicles as they attempt to run you over.

i have not tried this c-4 option. im not quick at any new skill i have learned reading through the forums but with lots of PRACTICE you can. i can assure you i have been able to do everything possible with in the limits of the game WITH OUT this so called hack BULL SHT. for instance getting my knife badge was hard i tried several ways of doing could not get it but then some one told me about the knife dive trick i did and it works . this is example may and may not be a good one but i can assure you if your little finger are quick and i do mean QUICK!!!!!!! then you can do this. I will trythe c-4 option tonight when i get home. Leadpoop one of my friends that plays battlefield say it is easy todo he has tried it. This guy is a ligitiment person to ask things about. so quit crying hack when you are little fingers are NOT QUICK. Just learn to be QUICK

im sure if you update your punkbuster it will detect hacks. read through there website and if you think you have found a hack that is not being detected they will show you how to send the screen shot of the game to them and they will analysis it of malicious activies. and put a stop to it. They can not stop hacks they do not know about

I wonder if there's a disconnect between the mouse input and the actual commands. What I mean is:

If you bind a process (or macro) to the method of right-click-left-click it'll work fine because the commands are directly fed, but when you actually do it manually (pressing the mouse buttons quickly) it screws up because the game can't handle mouse input (from both buttons) that quickly.

Does that distinction make sense? Can someone confirm?

Easy there, assmuncher, no need to call names, you twit. No where in the previous posts does it mention binding another key. I'll try binding alt-fire to something else, not "e", but someting and I'll get back to you. Though I have to say, my friend has a completely different key config than me and he still has the c4 glitch.

lol. Just did singleplayer. I never waited for the *beep* to switch. I did this and it solved all my problems. Wait for the beep then Rclick / Lclick to switch and detonate
