C4 whoring, How do they do it ?

I was playing Kharkand today watching maybe 8 people play with c4. One guy ran and he blew himself up killing 20 people at the begining of the round. Another detonated in less than a second, barely visible. I decided to give it a go, and nup, by the time it took for me to detonate it was too late, takes ages.

I had a good ping no lag and the guys that were doing this probably had a higher ping than me. Whenever I right click it fails to detonate, with that c4 bug too but these guys were blowing up their c4 before it even left them. They weren't a squad or a clan either.

Am I missing something here ? They would jump and detonate so fast.

Some sort of Macro, some sort of key ?

I would really like to know how seeing as all the chances I've had, to destroy spawn killing tanks, spawn killers, large groups of infantry..

if you hold down your mouse button you will throw all of your c4 then blow it instantly

a lot of people practice a lot at it.

And many use macros to do it.

That makes sense.

What types of macro's ? Could I get a hold of these ?
Seeing everyones using them, wonder why I shouldn't have some sort of aid.

It's timing not macro's. I'd say how to do it but then they'd be another person who ****es off many more.

All you have to do is:

jump forward
throw the pack using left mousebutton
right after do a 180 turn and jump again so you don't blow yourself up
After you hear the arming sound immediately press right button and left button. You might see your guy throwing another c4 but that's just an illusion.

a trick is to blow 4 of your C4's ... when you drop the last c4 it will change automatically to the detonator... but you will have to resupply.

I know a pro C4 whore; he bunnyhops, drops the C4, explodes it in mid air (!) and doesn't die... I wonder how he does it.

The 'trick' is in the post above yours.

If we were to do it your way, we'd only have 1 shot at it. These C4 bunnies can do it 5 times in a row.

And they live for the same reason that n00b t00bers live when they hit you when you're 2 feet away.

no on macros, I looked at our post here on the .con files and looked at double binding a key to see if it'd work...and it didn't

just gotta get good with it... sometimes I'll drop 3 off somewhere that I know I won't rack up a TK and have 2 to use..

Im just curious about the switching, most of time it doesn't work for me.
These seem to do it 100 % of the time.

It takes 1-2 seconds from when i throw the C4 until the detonator pops up, and if i don't wait for 1-3 seconds it will just throw another c4.

its easy

run and jump toward the enemy so it gets good distance , then to set it up mid air after you have already shot it , right click then left click almost in a motion like your clicking them together but the right click has to be clicked like 1/10th of a second before the left click, the detonator wont show on your screen it will be a pic of the c4 and will show him throwing it but its an illusion.

again.

so holding sprint and then jump toward enemy , mid air left click to throw it then the right click left click combo ( remember clicking the right mouse button first by a half second, then left click ) with practice youll get your timing and distance down so you dont kill your self everytime with it.

People aren't getting it..it's just another animation glitch.

You aren't actually throwing more C4 unless you let it go through to completion. If you click quickly enough, it doesn't actually throw a new C4 and you will actually be detonating instead.

The ultimate CQC weapon.

They thrive in Karkand. The best way to avoid them is to take the side streets/passages.

Long range GL works well too.
