That is absolutly false......The M203 round is an impact percussion weapon....(For you noobs who have never even seen a real M203, much less fired one) that means it explodes on impact, no matter how far from the launcher it hits.

WRONG. I have shot the 203. There is a minimum effective range, that is how they were created. I am not sure of the range but they do have a minimum. You must be the noob. I have 3 years Army experience as a Combat Infantry Medic.

Although, I am with the crowd that suggests it needs a min arming distance. But other than that, I have no complaints about the weapon whatsoever.

There's no shame in using the "t00b". Without the t00b, I wouldn't have killed that whole squad coming up the steps in Ghost Town last night.. 3 died together with one GL , 2 with AK101 rifle bursts and the last with another t00b.. :)

It's not the tools which are the problem, it's some people and how they use them. Ultimately if you think you're Rambo on steriods, running about without looking around corners first, then having the t00b out and ready whilst being able to hop like a bunny on hot coals makes sense. If however your mental processes are relatively normal, then the grenade launcher is an excellent secondary weapon, and a squad with two or three GL equipped troops with medics can be an awesome "pwn1ng" machine..

Grenade Lauchers are exploits, guns that overpower everyother gun in the game. This still doesn't make it illegal. Lizard, to asnwer to your question, yes, people doesn't play to have fun anymore. Playing has become like a day routine, mostly in BF2. You got to there, you kill, you die, hance and repeat.

GL is a way to win. Not to have fun or to have fun battles. It is to win. Only by winning we can be noticed in the eyes of others. In war, who writes history, the winner who used a nuke to win the war, or the one who fougth honourly?

And yes, war is the right word. We hate the players in the other side. If someone kils you, he is somekind of whore, H4X0rz, cheater, rushing-n00b and the list goes on. If you can't blame the opponent, you blame the isntruments of war he used.

And I can't write understandable text. Maybe I should had taken that writing course after all.

OMG, it's not NOOB tube, it's Grenade Launcher .

It IS surely Assault's best weapon, good at almost any distance. Instant kill in CQC. Oh, and it can take down vehicles. Once I killed a Havoc with full heath using the GL.

At first, I played mostly in tanks and other armors driving around and killing people. However, I started to play with friends more and so we started going around on foot. Having never played a game like this before, I enjoyed running arounda s a medic so I could "save myself" if I needed to and, on top of that, I loved reviving my friend when needed. I also loves sniping people with my L85.

However, that too became a little less exciting. Now that I usually have two medics in my squad, i now play a lot as assualt. Never have I had more fun in the game. Sure, I play to win. . .that's the point. I play to try and help my team win. . . I am competitive and I like to win. . .winning is more fun than losing to me. I don't play for points, however, I do regularly score in the few players on my team or server.

And I can assure you, the GL is a lot of freakin fun. Blowin a group of three people to smitherens makes me giddy. Watching a medic revive them (instead of coming after me) while I reload brings me great joy because I am going to get 4 kills with the next one. I love getting into a good hiding place and throwing surprising an enemy with a Grenade to their head.

It is not an exploit. It is not a daily routine. It is part of the freakin game and it's a lot of fun.

Where to start with this one :laugh:

1. Grenade Launchers are not "exploits" they were made for this game they are not a mistake or an error they are not unethical or illegal to use.

2. They don't overpower -every- gun in the game, yes they are 1 shot kill if you hit close enough. You would expect a GRENADE LAUNCHER to kill someone in 1 shot though wouldn't you? Just because your tactically disabled and unable to avoid being maimed by a GL doesn't mean that it is ridiculously overpowered. We are NOT playing CS anymore, take your time, pick your targets, shoot to kill.

Now keep your cake hole closed.

Only fools pick the 'assult' kit and fail to use it to its full potential. That like going AT and shooting your pistol at a tank, keep it up nub.

only reason i played assult was to get 15hrs for vet badge so i can get the Marksman Infantry Medal, im down to support vet badge, and 115hrs to go :/

i hate m203 and anything related, weather its far or close, its to easy to shoot
