The main problem with a minimum arming distance is that is completely imbalances the game, gives the users of Special Forces unlocks an advantage of their teammates, and violates the core intention of the kits. Why?
Because the m16a2 isn't very good in CQC. With a minimum arming the distance, the USMC assault with have nothing but poor options when to comes to CQC. The single/triple shot of the m16a2 struggles against the AKs and other automatics wielded by opponents. With no superior CQC option, this change that makes assault as effective as a medic in infantry combat. That’s asinine and violates the intended roles for the kits. The only group that'll remain is those USMC players with the F2000, due to its fully automatic nature. This will compound cries that one needs Special Forces in order to remain competitive.
As such, it's a bad idea to support a minimum arming distance. In attempting to solve a problem that doesn't exist, it creates new ones.
