I am NOT talking abut the account trick... Which in theory, minimum is an exploit, which clearely can not be something that EA have intended.

I am talking about the very piece of text you yourslef have quoted which quite clearly says you can have unlocks availeble even though you do not have SF installed.

But offcourse to someone of your obivious lack of intelligence it seems perfectly simple that EA themselves have poor english skills and that they infact here are endorcing the "account trick" as being perfectly legit.

I think it sounds weird, but it sure would decimate all those who are mad at EA for doing this "brilliantly marketing move" (which it then would prove not to be after all)

One could assume that people with a high score and without the exansion should have unlocked the SF unlocks by now. Surely one of them would report it. Maybe this should be posted on the official EA forums.

"Trick" would be allow SF users only to have overpowered weapons like the G36E and the F2000 unlocks.

No... I dont believe its the account trick... (which, yes, is VERY old news)

If it is the account trick (which I regard as an exploit, I yet to have used ) EA will drop to an alltime low in my regards... Why??... Because :

The account trick can not be something that EA have planned for, it must be an oversight on their behalf. EA is then officially endorcing something that is an exploit. THAT would be stupid...right ?

As I said before, it's not a trick. You CAN use the new unlocks even if you don't have the SF expansion (by simply killing a guy with them and picking his kit). And, although I didn't buy the expansion, someone else did.

But I think the point of buying the expansion is to play with the new vehicles, maps and etc., and not merely unlock the tier 2 weapons.

No... you misunderstand. its not about picking a dead guys kit up.

If we take the "account trick"... it came out roughly 1 or 2 days after patch 1.12... and imidiately got called as a exploit that EA would shut down, now that ppl have told the public about it...

At the same time 1.12 users where complaining about SF users being able to use their SF unlocks vs. 1.12 users..... and alot of discussing back and forth about those unlocks being for ONLY SF users...and everybody surely must have read the "TK for SF weapons" threads

As I have read it on these forums, it seemed to settle down around an opinion that the SF unlocks WAS only for SF users, but the 1.12 users could allways do the "account trick" (which I understood was an "exploit", hence EA would shut it down sooner or later).


NOW, I read this (the link), Which I read as the 1.12 user can unlock SF weapons like normal... ie. next time you rank up (and allready have the tier1 unlock) you can unlock the tier2 without having SF installed AND without doing the "account trick"... ie. SF weapons are availeble for ALL, regardless of any tricks or expansions.

IF this statement is about the "account trick" it is incredible poorly written, and , imo, EA is then endorSing something I have allways looked upon as a exploit...

Just fyi :
--I dont have SF.

--I felt it was wrong of EA to allow some weapons for some, that others could not get.

--I have not been annoyed enough from SF weapons to do the "account trick" yet.

It literally says you CAN have SF unlocks. "Can" aint exactly an exact way to say that "you'll be able to unlock via BF2" or something. clearly people CAN unlock by doing the account thing/whatever you call it... too bad he cant understand that. Quite laughable:laugh:
