Re: What BF2 can Learn from CS:S
Mmmm tis thought provoking. I tried DOD:S the other day and thought 'ohh nice graphics but I played this once already.'
I've played a lot of FPS, mainly Quake series and BF2 isn't really an FPS, well tis for those that play Karkland for hours on end but thats another story.
On the face of it yeah BF2 is FPS with tanks, choppers etc, but when you play a long time you start looking at a map and start thinking ok we take / hold the hotel on Gulf and we've got an APC and a tank, so lets take and hold that.
Most new players yeah it's an FPS they run around like headless chickens chasing one flag cap after another but most high scorers can drive just about anything and more importantly know how to get and keeps those assets in the first place.
