It's nowhere. People don't pay me to make games.
DICE and EA, however, are in the business of making and selling games to people who play them. We expect that if someone is an established professional at doing something, they ought to be damned good at it and also held accountable for their choices in shaping the product.
I can't make a car, either, but that doesn't mean I can't be p1ssed off when my engine fails in the first 1,000 miles, my door handles fall off, or if the radio controls are located under the front seat.
As the consumers and users of products we're well within our right to complain, even if we don't know how to best fix things - it's not our responsibility to know how to fix things. We do our part when we buy the product.
It's the same for, say, web designers. If I create a site, I'm the one responsible for making it usable. If you visted Amazon.com and you couldn't figure out where to enter your credit card info, or the page kept breaking, no one would expect you, the user, to write the code to fix it.
