this is in regards to the call of duty post where everyone is going to shut down their servers if they dont get some kind of support.

I wouldn't have even came here if you hadn't have spammed multiple threads about this particular issue. EA isn't scared, EA doesn't care. The patch won't do what it promises, the mod tools are probably in the same shape they were since about 2 weeks after they were released, but kept under wraps until SF brought in the money, and now they're fixing them so mods can't take the player base away from SF so soon. They'll get patched, we'll get an announcement for another expansion, the mod tools will be unheard of again until after the release. That's my prediction.

And no, I'm not stringing this out among other threads as it's nothing but a post count += 1 to do that, no purpose beyond that.

i didnt spam multiple threads, i created one to discuss why EA would post something like that. if u dont care then dont post, simple as that.

Notice that PimpYo calls every one some kind of derogatory name to reply to a post. Obviously he is a brain surgeon.

Try not being a D!ck and use you brain for something more than calling people Noobs and retards. You are obviously a stat padder looking at your sig. God, its people like you that make our community look bad, maybe you should go play on some train tracks or something. And by the way if i open a thread and see that there is info that i have already heard or read, i go through all of that effort and click the box with a X in it and then it is gone, does it really take so much energy to do that. I mean what is the big deal anyway? you guys spend more time arguing about meaningless stuff and what is old news and what is not. Let the admin deal with this stuff, if they have a problem with a posting then they will take care of it. but personally i do enjoy some of the arguments, and i really love to see intelligence of some of the fellow gamers out there, oh yea and the really meaningful names people come up with like ??PimpYo?? LOL i hear people talk like that all the time, its the HIV infected, heroin addicts that come into my ER, real assets to the community. Unfortunately these people end up dead or in prison.

Ya know... it occurs to me that it seems to be the trolls that are scared.
Scared to admit that they've been flat out WRONG.

They cried abandonment when there's been 4 patches and an expantion released within 4 months of launch. Now there's this announcement of another patch. Definatly underlines how wrong they were.

Some folks just ain't happy if they don't have something to complain about... and if you take that complaint away from them (by adressing the issue) they will hate you for it.

I doubt they are scared just doing PR to keep the interest up through XMAS season, that is what they are betting on.

One major difference though between CoD 2 and BF2, CoD 2 is more focused on a single player game then a multiplayer game...BF2 is more focused as a multiplayer games...

Something I think the CoD players have forgotten....But yeah this is just normal PR and EA is not going to abondon BF2...

I've never doubted their interest in trying to fix things. I just doubt their ability to do it right and to the community majority's satisfaction.

Ah well this reminds me once of a design seminar I took presented by Mike Lin....to things like this he told us to always say "Can I see yours"...

In other words, if you talk the talk can you walk the walk....huh??? Where is your better version of this game then, huh where?
