This completely does not work. I replaced all the files in my files in \mods\bf2\Localization\English\ with your files, fired up an internet game of vanilla bf2, and saw 0 changes on any death messages. What gives?
i'm gonna guess you saved the original files bak in that same folder? if not, then you need to give some more info about your problem.

You must completely read the installation instructions because this certainly does work. :p
Be certain there are no backups of any .utxt files in the localization directory. If you are certain you have done this correctly, please provide a screenshot of your /localization/ and /english/ directory in "Detailed" view.
His name should be [UK]=a$h= but the '$' doesn't show, nor does the arrows before and after PS.
Can it be fixed?
Did that happen normally when the text was grey? If the color code is screwing with the special characters in his name, you could remove the code for that one word or alter it slighty to highlight "You killed" or "killed" instead.
It had something to do with him moving to fevergaming and MyIS not agreeing with that.... there's probably a few old school members who got booted for that.
Hi, awesome job done there! Is there anyway to get kill messages on the left upper corner to show, as own team member blue, killed enemy with red color text (blue text killed red text), and so on if i teamkill we see "blue text killed blue text" and vice versa.
