We at DICE and EA are committed to on-going support for Battlefield 2. We're pleased to see that so many of you are still playing the game on a regular basis and continue to support it and the community with some great mods and movies (We're big fans of the machinimas, so keep them coming guys, and MINE, you guys rock!).

I think thats kind of nice :)

It shows i think that they do listen a bit now and then and despite everything they don't want to be thought of as so harsh and mercinary as some people make out (although of course they are like that but don't want to be percived to be which is good enough for me) and i also think the number 2 forum website they look at after the EA forums in total battlefield 2 :)

I wonder if that means they're seriously going to do something about bunnyhopping, since that was the #1 concern on the list made by that eauk thread.

There already is a fix for that, it's called the DAO-12. I wonder how many times that has been said? :p

Want to get your point across to the dev team so they might include it in a patch? I guess making a machinima about the issue would be a good way.

They are accurate!

They arn't, they don't work at all across anything longer distance than 200 meters and i am a good sniper, the rifle should work at any distance that you can see if your good at sniping, however at the moment it is literally just lucky if you hit them at long range even if you aim perfectly.

Lets see, a new patch...

well, first of all, dont expect it as a christmas present.

maybe late january, probably late february.

And I'd be suprised if it fixed more than 75 % of the complaints, and I'd be suprised if it fixed the wrong color tag thing, id also be suprised if there werent at least 4 new major bugs for people.

thats my outlook.

I tend agree with Fig... I say 4 is the over/under for how many new bugs arise from said new patch. I'll take the over. :P
