Alright people, I've been hearing Xbox360 this and Xbox360 that, and whenever people have said anything (except a few) about PS3 they have said it's gonna come out in less then a year boo-hoo I don't want to wait.
Now I looked at the IGN reviews on the top ten reasons why to get a PS3 and then one for Xbox360, The only reasons Xbox360 had for getting it insted of a PS3 was the "it's out now factor" now this is a very weak reason, why? because these next gen. consoles are going to be the main gaming consoles for 5-6 years! they aren't going to come out with new consoles anytime soon! So IMO it's best to wait and get the best one with better games. Now one of the strong points that you should get a PS3 as oposed to Xbox360 is,

"360's launch lineup is admirable; there are 18 games and five first-person shooters. It can even be argued that the 360's overall average quality of titles is greater than that of previous systems. And yet not a single game is Killer App worthy? Where's the Halo? Where's the Mario? Where's the Soul Calibur? Where's the frickin' interest?
It's true, though. PS2 launched with a sorry lot of games and PSOne featured a similarly disgraceful lineup, but with the advent of PS3, Microsoft may have wished it more heavily emphasized one game its new console could forever be known for. This is because PS3 has the Metal Gear potential, Warhawk, Tekken, I-8, Gran Turismo, Killzone, and a dozen other high profile games that may hit day one to put a smiling face to the splendid PlayStation name. And when you can associate Dante with PS3, will anything else matter?"
Now this is a good point, no? And also, graphics count, the PS3 will display at 1080 p! As opposed to the Xbox360 wich is at 720p, and yes it is true that most tv's can't even display that many pixels but who cares! And all PS3 games are expected to run at 120fps or more.
Heres the Reviews on PS3 and Xbox360 from IGN, IMO the PS3 review has much more stronger reasons than the weak Xbox360 review.
Now if you notice all the reasons that Xbox360 gives (for example, backwords compatability) PS3 has the same, but better.
P.S. Both reviews are longer than one page, and if you don't read these reviews or read my all that I said, don't bother to say anything trying to defend Xbox360. And I'm not trying to bash Xbox360, just pointing out why PS3 will be better!

is it so wrong for anyone to just get something and enjoy it. There's nothing wrong with the 360 and there will be nothing wrong with the PS3. They will both play games and look great doing it.....I deal enough with specs on my PC so I could care less about what "this" can do and "that" can't in a console. As long as it looks good and can make for some good, drunk multiplayer mayhem.
