Did I mention a flag at all? No, I mentioned the meat grinder which is usually the ground for nades, FBs, 203/gp-30 etc... Interesting how less than half of your post is actually contributing to the thread:laugh: , I guess we all cant behave all the time . After you mentioned getting shot as well is due to bad strategy. Hence my remark. I attempted to contribute to this thread how your remarks didn't exactly encourage me and you constant "flaming". In the end I opposed using flashbangs whilst your gave your opinions which is ok, but me, having an opposed opinion to yours does not make your correct. This is a thread where things are discussed. I merely put your opinion in another point of view to show another perspective. Anyway I dont want to argue to with anymore to make this thread go offtrack. Nough said.

Anyway, flashbangs can be used strategicly, but from what I've seen, they haven't been so far. Especially during kharkand, I've seen naders from my own team just uselessly chuck flashbangs. Theres nothing much we can do about except not play, I guess we'll have to adjust.

Why isn't everyone whinging about Valve or ID making games that are only Windows compatible.

Almost all of id's games are available on Macintosh.

The can get REALLY annoying, especially a friendly throws one and it bangs, but effects you more, even being near 'em makes your vision blurry

I think it's a good idea. From a marketing point of view of course.

Why isn't everyone whinging about Valve or ID making games that are only Windows compatible. It gives those who run windows an unfair advantage over those who like to save money and contribute to community programs using open source software. The advantage being they dont have to **** fart around just to play the game in the first place, emulating windows mind you.

It's the same thing really. It's about maximising your position in the market, and as far as I'm concerned, it's only a few bucks, the only reason you'd be whinging about not wanting to buy the expansion is if you're a crack addict on welfare payments. What else can you get with those few bucks? It's not like it's $100, and it's not like you get nothing at all. It's good fun having those few extras.

ID games run great on Linux/MAC, or what have you.

to the tards that said "its only 30 bucks, go buy it, quit being a tightass" your ass must be alot looser than mine by now, i took it in the ass by ea once when i bought bf2 because the game is still super buggy and unfinished, but you took it twice by buying another buggy, unfinished product by them. you bought your advantage and thats all good and fine for you, but i have the satisifaction that my ass IS tighter than yours.

i have absolutely no problem with you being a tight ass thats your choice but tis the people who are tight arses and then moan about getting killed by something in the expansion pack....

im sorry people paid there money for that pack and as such deserve to have new toys to play with! thats what they paid there money for! if you believe it gives them an advantage then again fine its what they paid there extra money for! some people need to realise this is how the gaming world works now.....

you dont have to play with those people if you dont want to if you dont go repatch to 1.03 and play with people of like mind! no one is forcing you to patch to 1.12.....

Expansion packs expand the original game, it's absurd to think that the feature shouldn't be used to expand the original game.

Back to the topic, why do flashbangs work during the day out in the open? From what I can remember being in the Army, they were only used in rooms before breach. I have never seen one used out in the open. If it's already bright, it's relaly not going to affect you any. And to show how stupid they really are, I was in an APC and my vision went blurry from one being thrown somewhere near me. I thought the accuracy of the sniper rifles was bad, but this just tops it.
