I'll definetly try the punkbuster thing and I've heard of many people renaming their exe's. Does this work ? Should I make a back of it before I start ?

yeah, the .exe thing worked for me, thats why i put it on the site

if these work for you please tell others who have problems about the site

theres no real need to make a backup, because if you mess up just rename it to BF2.exe again

Wow. I tried all the tips out and these tips really work! I have almost no lag, even on a 62 person server in the middle of a huge battle. Before, lag was one of my biggest causes of my deaths, but these tips have gotten rid of the problem.
