Arty does not belong in SF. They should allow a server option to turn off Arty and commander mode. Then let us see how many server's enable commander mode! SF is about sneaking around working in close squads with total cbq action. However, it is a lot harder to do this with Arty raining down on your squad all the time. Keep it in BF2 and get it out of SF.

The thread title reads "Does Artillery Belong in SF ?". BF2 is a larger concept than SF.

Arty sux, make it a server command, on or off like FF.

I'd like to see a toggle for flipping radar off too in city maps.

I think most Sf players would agree arty OUT, and BF2 players would agree to having a server side command to have it enabled or not, both them suggestions are good and EA should have them put into the next patch

Or simple enough the server side command for both, that way the admins get to choose and switch if they want, just get a icon on the browser to show which server are running arty on or off or a filter added.
