actually for me the 77.77 driver is the best so far....you've got to love hardware a million ways for it to F*** up

I have a feeling it's gonna be the same for me, but then again I have a 1.8ghz P4.

I have a P4 3.0 Ghz 1gb ram and Nvidia 6600 GT 128 mb Pcie x16

I have a 2.0 GHZ and it still runs crappy...so don't feel alone here. Also the lag I am experiencing is not Network lag but framerate issues.

I have the same RAM and video card, but AGP.
My processor is almost 4 years old

Well got my FPS. You can see my computer spec. in my sig, I get 30/20 - 50/35 FPS. Never.. NEVER had lag issues, Runs smooth for me. Still ****ed that I can not get my new unlocks playing MEC in BF2SF, but I can get them in BF2 Reg. Still makes no sence to me

Not sure if it increased my FPS, as I didn't really have that problem too much. However, it seems to have solved my CTD issue on day one of playing BF:SF I CTD at least 3 times. Now... not once in about another 20 hours worth of play.

I can confirm that the 81.95 drivers correct the problem. I am back to normal with no jitter.

but i cannot find any fix-notes in the release notes of the driver

well thats great but i still can't update the driver on my 6200 256mb card without the jitter. i am using the 76.44 driver it came with. i have to put in the 81.85 driver to play day of defeat and then roll it back to play bf

never heard of a problem like yours.
i think you should find a driver between both numbers (76.44-81.85).
but the newest driver is 81.95 isn't it?
