OK, its updated but won't play !!! I click the launch button on Steam & nothing happens. The HDD does something, and if I open Task manager I can see "RedOrchestra.exe" appear for about 1 second & then disappears.

HELP !!

OK, I ran the exe directly & got this -

How do I fix it ??

Right click RO on the steams game list, then properties, then local files, then click "Verify integrity of game cache".

I must be jinxed, now it runs & crashes my whole PC. I re-verified the files (twice), when it launches now I get a small bit of red at the top of the screen & my whole pC freezes. If I reboot then the XP error reporting says its a fualt with a device driver. Anyone else get this ? I guess it is the video driver, I've got a Radeon X600 running Catalyst 6.2. Do these drivers/cards run OK for anyone else ?

If you use zonealarm uninstall it and delete ur clientregistry.blob from steam.

What's this? I use Zonealarm, is this going to cause a conflict?

If I have to uninstall ZA, what free firewall would anyone recommend?

Hmm what a bugger. Not sure about this, is a pain in the arse to uninstall and setup a new firewall.

Most likely. If Red Orchestra reboots or crashes your PC, then its most likely ZoneAlarm, but other things may be causing it.
