I hope there'll be a demo or free trial, because if that game is going to be anything like Call Of Duty 2 or Day of Defeat, I won't be too interested.

The only thing that it has in common with those games is that they're set during WW2. RO has more in common with Operation Flashpoint than any other shooter.

Thanks for the link Sharp.

That's a great preview, interesting read about the author too.

I love the added gore, makes such a difference, adds a feel of gritty realism. Would be nice in BF2, be we know that's not gonna happen. (I know there's a blood mod', but that doesn't work online, which defeats the object)

Yeah, I guess I should pre-order it now too, no doubt in my mind this is gonna be a really great game.

Just checked the release date again, the 14th, that's two days before my broadband connection is activated. Not too bad, I can't wait to get back gaming, 56k is terrible for anything other than browsing the web.

It went Gold. They added the manuals along with other things in the preload.
