Strike at Karkand is possibly the map where tanks are the cheapest especially on USMC, especially the APCs. Okay, you're probably in the tank at the majority of the time. You say you'll stop if someone else gets on the tank first, but you'll always get the tank first, other than a few rare occasions.


1. You already know when the tank is going to respawn. (40 seconds after you die)
2. You know the spot of where the tank is going to respawn.
3. Theres not that many people who stand around waiting for tanks.

So basically you're always on the tanks and whoring it since you respawn back at the tank site and you always get on the tanks. Hence the term, Tank whore. Unless on a very very rare occasion that you are one step slower and someone else waiting for the tanks happens to get the tank before you. Even though you shouldn't because you know the time and the spot of where the tank will be.

im getting pretty angry every time someone calls me a noob and a tank whore. . most people are calling me a spawn camper.

Spawn Camping: WHY?..many times im going for the last flag and killing everyone who spawns. yea it is spawn killing, but i just want to help my teammates from getting killed. i give support and wan't to help them. should i just run away when someone calls me a spawn raper...come on this is to lame.

I hate it when someone does this to me, but I myself have done it. It's pathetic and annoying. If you really want to show off your spifft kills, kills from a distance. Give your team support from letting them go in while you defend.

In a real war no one would care if you "spawn kill"..

everyone uses the best technics to survive. many you can't say "tank whore" in a real war...no one would care.
i know, BF isnt real war, but its a war game. so why not play it like a real war. Real war is unfair and will never be balanced. so get over it.

Basically there isn't spawn killing in real war. I don't know how many times I've said this but why do people keep reffering to the real war factor ? It's just a game. There is no soldier spawning again in real war, therefore this isn't even close to real war.

i can kill you, but you can also kill me. so why is everyone whining. there are to many AT guys out there. and if you have a well organized squad, then you can quickly take out a tank..2-3 missiles and you are done. tanks are big and clumsy so you have enough chances to take him down. a soldier is small and can move fast. its not the tank commander who is a noob, but the soldier who complains about the tank commander.

Its not soldier who spawns infront of you, its the tank commander who is noob tubing.
However you are correct, you can be killed, anyone can no matter how effectively they are killing. But everyone in this game wants to gain points in one way or another at some point. Some play for fun, IMO most don't. I doubt there is a set out squad full of AT's wanting to kill any tank that moves most of the time, but yes they can kill you, but lets say you spawn kill a soldier who comes back as AT to kill you but he spawns at the alleyway where you are eagerly waiting and boom, hes dead.

last time i played i got in a real good team. no one took my tank and everyone appriciated that i owned the other team. the other team even started a discussion with my team mates. and 2-3 of the foes called me noob and tank whore. its to lame. tanks are part of the game and need to give support for the team.

I can see what your saying and im sure most of us are guilty of doing the same thing at some point. No-one likes doing, everyone like killing heaps of people, its just the way thats its done can be frowned upon. Basically you don't have to listen to when someone calls you a tank whore. Lets face it, its more fun and easier to be a tank, however if you really want to be good at it, don't noob tube, allow others to have the tank. Its not cool when you die instantly but its always going to happen. There are team killers and idiots around in this game, aswell as whores. Its not your fault because this can be done easily, but you can refrain from doing it. You dont have to though. Just think twice before you use the tank again and maybe you could improve some other skill or go after another badge.

I think that with your stats you hsould know what tank noobing is. It's sad, and it's true, but you suck with guns. You are a tank noob.

Are you sure? He who does like to tank, can not know what tank whore is. As nobody knows, its just a low-class insult.

Hehe, I know english isn't your first language, but this comment is, er, perplexing.

My what I was pointing out in his stats is that he's spent almost as much time in a tank as he has doing everything else in the game combined. He's also spent more than double the time playing on Kark (everyone's favorite farming level) than he has playing ALL other maps together!

Here they are again:

Tank kills: 4,142
Total kills with ALL infantry weapons: 1,871
Time in a Tank: 41:14:26
Total time using all infantry weapons: 45:24:45
Total time playing on Strike at Karkand:73:20:10
Total time playing on all other maps: 30:29:90

Obviously, this guy likes driving tanks. Does that make him a whore?
No.
I like flying helos, but I wouldn't call myself a chopper whore.

What makes him a tank whore is that he seems to ONLY drive tanks and plays only on maps where Tanks dominate. He hasn't bothered to develop any other skill or try anything seriously challanging. Driving tanks on ANY other map is a challange.

So, yeah, he's a tank whore.
If that's how he gets his rocks off, fine by me. I don't really care other than I would enjoy blowing up his presious armor if I ever get the chance.
