Of course. I have about 80 hours into medic as it's my most played class so I know how it all works and i've been on both sides of the shock-paddles.

Play in a squad with VOIP\TS as medic and keep track of how many times your squad mates ask to stay dead so they can better deal with the situation. Happen's more then you think.

Please DO revive me! If it's 5 times, so be it, you are giving me another chance to make a difference and if I get killed again instantly, revive me again if possible. Since, these don't count as kills if you are revived, what's the problem?

I hear ya .. I have only just begun as it is really the only kit I have no 'real' time with ... I have to say that I enjoyit, but it is screwing my kill/death ratio

If there was a "leave me alone" option, a medic would keep reviving you just to **** u off anyways, its better that theres not.

Eay to be left alone..... just leave the respawn window open till after your respawn time. It will negate the medi'c ability to revive you.

There are times when it is beneficial to not being revived. For example... being completely out of ammo... not haveing a resupply guy around you... and a commander that is not willing, capapable to drop a supply crate.

And it keeps the dumbasses from reviving you in front of the tank that just killed you.

Re: "no, leave me and save yourself"

Of late, I often get killed and then blindly revived by a medic, only to have the same enemy kill me again AND kill the medic.

Guess people are too fixated on the mini-map.

Not only does it prevent a team point being lost but if the freshly revived person is on the ball you can turn the tide of battle. I usually keep the shockpaddles out ready to zap prone enemies.
Yep the majority of the time if im healed im glad to be and i do survive and so people saying its losing time etc overall have no argument. In the end when you add it all up being revived doesn't cost you points it SAVES you points it means your team dont lose a point and it means your fresh and ready to get stuck in again quicker than if you waited too respawn.

I'll have to remember that for when bone head medics revive me 5ft in front of the guy that just killed me

                            Its an interesting idea,

Manys the time ive been killed by armour threatening to take the flag, select AT kit and expect to repawn with the correct tools to pop the tank, only to be revived and spawn again under the tank treads (splat, dead, flag lost)

I think its a reflection of the EA ranking system making some people perform the actions of a teamplayer, without actually understanding the reasons for, and strategy of teamplay.

Instead of thinking 'i wont revive that guy, so he can spawn with an SMAW and help defend the flag' some players will think 'Must revive! im a medic and i need points, plus i think im helping my team!'

As for implementation, agree VOIP would be the way.

So does leaving the 'spawn screen' up actually work? I was under the impression that it did. Never really had a chance to try it yet.
