Re: Why can we jump in this game?
I don't have a problem with being able to jump in BF2, but I think the height at which the soldiers jump is rather unreasonable. They got more hops than LeBron, and that's with carrying five AT rockets or a hugh-jass LMG. A bit over the top if you ask me. I liked the jumping in BF1942 and BF:V, and I don't remember bunnyhopping being a problem in those games (although admittedly I played BF:V more than BF1942 online, but I still put in a good 500 hours or so into BF:V and bunnyhopping was never even CLOSE to an issue). In BF:V you could jump just high enough to get over sandbags or logs, but you couldn't leapfrog OVER people who were standing straight up or anything. I think having jumping is necessary because it helps to get across small building gaps like the construction site in Sharqi, but I just think the height should be reduced by about half. Heh, a lot of the guys I used to play BF:V consistantly with said the jumping in this game was "Super Mario-like". :laugh:
