I just bought a new rig and it has a dual core 4200+ and a 7800GTX with a EVGA Sli mobo and a gig of ram. I paid 1384 through cyberpowerinc.com, do u think that it will run bf2 on ultra high with no stuttering and do u guys think that the money was well spent? o yea with a sweet case with a 450 watt power supply
what u guys think?
Another gig of ram, To keep up.
And running that 7800GTX and the dual core 4200+ you will need atleast a 550wat SLI capble powersupply. Apart from that with another gig of ram you should play smoothe as.
nice but im getting a p4 extream edition dual core 64 bit. 2 nvidia 7800 512mb graphic cards and 4 gig of ram. over all cost £3600
dam that sounds like a boat load of cash and I want top of the line graphics but paying that much is crazy. that is going a lil overboard, but if u got the cash more power to ya it's a sick rig but unless u got an imcrediable monitor it isn't worth giving up the extra cash for the sli 7800's
the guy from cyberpower told me that I will be alright with the 420 watt psu and that I can't really oc it or it might mess up
Don't listen to salesman to often. REmember they are salesman and trying to sell you something, which means they have an agenda. You have the internet. That is a very valuable tool in finding out information and advice.
yea but it isn't to smart to sell me something that in the long run will cost them money. by that i mean why offer sometihing u know will not work and burn out and then offer to have warranty on the system
