I spend quite a bit of time in jets and, while the temptation is DEFINITELY there to ram an enemy transport, I will always try to shoot it down. However, there are those rare occasions where I may make a hard turn and accidentally turn into an enemy chopper. Is this intentional? Nope. I hate waiting for planes to respawn and I love seeing a score with zero deaths. There are also rare occasions where I have accidentally rammed a friendly chopper in the same manner. It sucks and I get negative points, but it is part of the game.

So to sum up my point...ramming is a tactic that I CHOOSE not to use, however if it happens accidentally and I happen to get a few points from it, cool. But I'm still angry the whole time I'm waiting for the plane to respawn because I'm very impatient.

Blackhawks are impossible to shoot down coming from the side.

You could fire 5 missiles at it coming side on, 4 will go through the middle, and the other will turn 85 degrees and shoot down a chopper from your side.

There is nothing called cheap, only effective measures denied by mental states, who think that game knows word honor. Game only knows words Win and lose.

A pilot does a quick swoop on a base, presses a button, and gets 3 spawn kills, and people start building golden statues of them.

I seam to be reading quite a lot that 5 people in a blackhawk are whoring asses. Where`s the logic in this?? The blackhawk is a transport helicopter that is to be used to transport a squad from A to B in a relativly short time. Why call it whoring? Has it escaped peoples notice that since the last patch only the pilot counts towards the flag cap and that everyone else has to get out for them to get points or the flag to go down quicker.

Also people who comment on other peoples use of grammer spelling etc. Could you try and stop it. This is an international forum where many people are conntributing in their second language. All those who pick up on peoples spelling or grammer can you go onto a foreign language forum and read it? Let alone post on it. Can you even speak a foreign language? Don´t you think it might just put people off posting an interesting comment if they think that they will get their grammer corrected like they were at school?

Ramming helos with jets on purpose is ridiculous and removes fun from the game. In my opinion, again my opinion, those players shouldn't be rewarded with the kills from doing so. You're not the scum of Earth, but you're still removing the fun and what little realism this game has. It's a war simulator, and yes I understand 'suicide bombers' but they only get one life, you get many. Don't ruin the game for others.

I ram, its best when you just clip them causing only a bit of damage to yourself but they then blow up. This works well against helis.

I find it surprisingly convenient that everyone has ignored Newiq's post. I'm of the opinion that ramming is cheap, but otherwise a legitimate tactic that has uses in particular situations: the trick is correctly determining which ones warrant it.

Criticism inspires the will to learn to those who have the capacity to do so. Also, if you're going to make an 'attack' on someone, at least target them don't just let loose a hail of fire on everyone. While he is from Finland, and doesn't have the BEST English, he should or maybe does know that trying to participate in an English discussion is going to spark something about his English. Wargimp was only playing a role in showing him cause and effect. Don't take this the wrong way, I don't think insulting people is right, however some people deserve it and/or asking for it.

Theres an old saying.... "All is fair in love and war" This somewhat applies to this, but if a pilot rammed into a helo with intent.... well that seems dishonorable and suicidal. Which makes it not okay in my book, and on the other hand, this is a game and that makes it just stupid. So either way, I see ramming as wrong.

Actually, if you read my post again, I was't going after his use of words AT ALL.
He made the comment that the GAME only knows "Win" and "Lose". I stated that a thinking PERSON has more of a vocabulary.
