Re: Are you a team switcher??

I only switch sides when me and my mate are on different teams, not because we insist on playing together, but because of the simple fact that he's sitting beside me and can see my screen and take advantage of the info (I do the same thing BTW)...

I only switch is teams are uneven or autobalanced, I get ****ed off if my team is losing and the switch to the other side, its not going to do much, u still get the same ammount of points u earned.

Re: Are you a team switcher??

I only switch teams when my team is a bunch of rejects...nothing ruins a game worse than 20 people all standing around TKing each other for jets and attack choppers.

If the teams are unbalanced, I'll usually switch to the team with the least amount of players.

The last 4 replies made me feel as if I was rereading the posts again because they started with...

Yup..well the question was 'Are you a team switcher??'.

So...technically, we are because we will switch teams under certain circumstances.

BUT..we want to make sure that we make it clear that we are not the 'switch at the end of the round to improve win/loss ratio' type of team-switcher which I'm sure is the only type of team switch the OP was looking for.

Re: Are you a team switcher??

One of the most annoying experience I had with auto-switch was when I decimated the USMC forces in Operation Cleansweep. They were damn lucky if they could cross the ocean without my Su-34 engaging it, and a miracle if they ever nuetralized the flag.

Well I accidentally collided with the F-15 and got autoswitched, that really ticked me off so much.

But then the winning team will gain a retard.
The best players will see it as a challenge to fight on with the bad team, and try to make a difference instead of making even more uneven teams.

Most of the time they are switching teams at the end for the win - trying to get the win/loss ratio to 3:1 in order to get the War College Ribbon.

Winning team does not get 2x pts, or any bonus for the win. The commander only gets 2x his commander pts that he earned while commanding that winning side.

So if someone switches to the winning team and takes commander spot at the last second - they get nada, zip, zero.

A little off from what this topic is about but...

My problem with team switch is when i'm frantically trying to get my kit and spawn location selected for my respawn, i tend to hit the team tab by accident making me switch sides. I really hate that and was wondering if i'm the only tard who makes this mistake and is there a way to lock myself to a team.

negative on the team switching... i played too much usa in the beginning and am trying to balance my playtime with choosing only mec or the like. win or loss, stay with your "team" until the fat lady sings...

and, as for pak_hoppers point - absolutely, happens too mcuh to me and my fat fingers...

No you're not the only tard, I have done that accidentally on several occasions; I'm a little more careful nowadays though... :p

Also, i'm not quite sure how it's possible for the server to have 12 v. 4 by team-switching when autobalance is on (all Korean servers have autobalance on).
The autoswitch doesn't happen fast enough...it will eventually balance out the teams, but like I said, when the round starts 12 vs 4 or some nonsense the round is pretty much over by the time auto-switch kicks in...as in all the flags, or all but 1 are taken by the time the teams get evened out.
And I think I have seen you a few times on the Clean sweep maps, I almost always play MEC...I will save a Rocket for your jet~~I think I have eaten enough of your bombs for you to let me shoot you down once or twice...:p

You don't get credit for the win if you switch at the last minute.
