Was thinking of creating a video like this but decided stroking my own ego would get me flamed right away by those victims.

Bravo on managing to fly with fraps fps limit on, other than that just another day in a pilot's life, nothing special.

one thing that struck me as nothing short of amazing was the fact that PlaneWhore didn't take any damage throughout the whole round (as far as I could tell). then again, he didn't give anybody much of a chance to even hit him...

match that with the fact that he only accumulated a couple "Team Vehicle Damages" and TK's, and i'd say he did an excellent job from the air. i was surprised that the guy he bombed didn't punish even after saying "Sorry." i get punished nearly everytime i accidentally TK from the air despite saying "Sorry."

Does it even matter whether you get punished or not? It's still -2 combat -2 team for team damage and another -2/-2 for a team kill. I don't think punishing even does something on ranked servers. I played demo, and enough punishes would get you booted off the server, but you wouldn't TK that much on ranked anyway, so I just don't see the point.

Oh and thanks for uploading it. That [the original] hosting is retarded. I had to wait for like 30 min, then it says that it timed out...

PlaneWhore uses a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. If you're a kb flyer, edit your controls.con and bump the mouse sensitivity (and perhaps pitch) to somewhere around 90 (yes, it'll still show up as 10 in your in-game settings but there *IS* a VERY noticeable difference... try it).

You know that isn't exactly true what the below poster said about the J-10, but yeah I'd say overall the J-10 is my favorite plane.

It really all depends on the circumstances during the game though.

The F-35B while being the worst plane by far when it comes to avoiding AA fire has some advantages. It has the most cannon ammo out of any of the planes and as some might notice it has a very "stable" feel to it, these two factors make it an ideal plane for attacking in an air to ground fashion. Of course the poor evasive capabilities are not an issue during rounds where the enemy pilots are unskilled or passive, and/or the AA operators are unskilled, or scarce to nonexistent.

The J-10, while it will win any dogfight (given two equally skilled pilots) and is much better for dodging AA fire (it also has more afterburner fuel, I think), has half the ammo for the cannons that the F-35B does, and it has a somewhat unstable or shaky feel to the handling. It doesn't bother me much, but it will make the guns less accurate overall and of course you have less ammo. The real advantage it seems that the J-10 has is not that it can turn quicker, but it has more thrust so it'll rarely lose airspeed during even the most taxing aerial maneuvers, which is what can make the other jets become vulnerable to missile fire.

The MiG-28 and the F-18 are both pretty different and share certain various handling characteristics and ammo load outs that are in between the two extreme spectrums provided by the J-10 and the F-35B.

In the end though the J-10 has the best set of advantages overall out of the four and will give you the edge in a dogfight, which doesn't seem like it'd be that great. But if you're on the receiving end of an equally skilled pilot who has a J-10 with that slightly better handling it can seem like a huge disadvantage, depending on whatever plane you might be flying at the time.

ya i know my statement was a little bit extreme. but most ppl prefer J-10 due to its flexibility.

i do like 600 cannon ammo of F35's.

so hey PW, have u tried saitek joysticks? if u have, how did u like them? (such ST290 or Cyborg Evo)
