as i said on the Pb forum, ill just go in any server on the server list to see how devastating the jets can be.. :laugh:

untill there is a balance fix with the jets and you make a video AFTER that fix then i will download and watch it, as it stands at the minute all your doing is just basically showing us what we already know.. people in jets will allways get high scores because they cant be brought down.. :laugh:

Gotta say thanks for the tip on single bomb drops - put it to the test last night.

Worked like a champ. Always wondered why I sometimes only dropped one - even with the bomber.

Nice vid and great flying. Too much attacking the non-cap though, IMO.

Too bad the game doesn't include any viable ways to shoot down jets, cause I don't think anyone should be allowed to zip around with virtual invincibility like that. In real world, guys on the ground have lots of ways to knock down jets. In BF2, armor and grunts just gotta run and hide, while good pilots rack up tons of kills. What a load of crap.....

Jets suck.

Don't forget, I am complimenting the guy on his flying. He is skilled, no doubt. It's the game I am ragging at.

Also, it sucks that non-caps ain't protected from bombing and strafing. EA, please put some bubble zones around the non-caps.

Yea, UCB camping is not impressive. Avoiding the enemy jets is not impressive.

What I did like was the use of the canon to soften up a piece of armor, then killing it off with just a single bomb. I've not seen that tactic heavily used before and it looks like it is pretty effective when used by someone skilled with the canon.

so if you're pursuing an enemy jet and have him smoking, are you saying that we shouldn't be allowed to pursue them over their runway while they attempt to repair? i don't know about you, but that would be incredibly boring if jets could constantly "hide" in no-fly zones.

plus it's not very true-to-life.

is uncappable spawn raping with a jet lame? maybe to those who can't get off the ground, yes. but what he's doing is crippling the enemy from being able to fly bombing missions, which is tremendously valuable to his team. as much as people cry about how it's not fair that you can do that, you're only creating these "rules" in your mind that keeps you from playing to win.

toss all those silly rules out the window and get out there and hurt someone. there's a battle to be won. don't let those rules hinder you from helping your team.

Watched the video, impressive, I never really messed with planes all that much except the JSF on Wake, but I gotta try this single bomb trick though. :)

This video shows how to play an effective match as a pilot. Even though I made what I feel is a massive amount more mistakes than I typically do, and made some decision errors on which targets to attack, I believe I still managed a highly effective round supporting my team. I'd like to think I had no small part to play in the USMC breezing through the round 130-0.

Unfortunatly for some one of my "effective" techniques is base raping, as I've found it to be an extremely effective tactic when it comes to supressing some of the enemies more powerful vehicles. I have no qualms base raping, and I think personally it's all fair as long as you aren't cheating or exploiting.

And I'm glad the video could help some people, and I think it did as my e-mail box and PM box are stuffed with thank you notes and additional questions and comments from people. That was the point of the video, so I'm glad I managed to help some people out

Like I said, expect to see an air-to-air combat video only sometime in the near future to make up for the admitted lack of it in this video.

Non-cap base raping is always lame, with jet or anything else. Jeez, I mean, gimme a break. What fun is it to over-run someone and back them into their non-cap, then just kill them as they spawn? It's a game, not real life. A game needs some code of sportsmanship to be fair and fun. Base raping is not good sportsmanship.

Now, if it was real life and I had Osama Bin Ladin backed into a corner, you bet I'd keep shooting until him and all his buddies were very, very dead.

I was doing that today, the people were scared on the USA side of getting into a plane as I just got them before they even left the ground, the best bit if machine gunning the deck of the Essex.

Nice one i want to see more ucb raping of stupid noobs standing around waiting for jet to spawn when its pretty obvious they are hopless pilots..

Its idiots like this that waste tickets to the team dying the same deaths over and over.

Simple solution to this is if you have someone like planewhore taking your jets out keep the fook outta the jets coz its pretty obvious your team has too many noobs to deal with someone like this guy

Remember when the demo 1st came out .. people could still win gulf when nobody was even using the jets on either team.

Stop crying about ucb rape and get the skillz to shoot him down or keep the fook outta the server

It does entatain me seeing all the people bitching about you shooting at the main base, however when i'm not in a plane it never seem to happen to me, my be it because they never actually leave the main base to fight and are completly useless to the team, don't tehy understand that if you keep getting killed at the main base when you spawn, then spawn somewhere else.

The flying you did was alot like i fly, however i seem to hit the ground taking turns once or twice in a round, i also seem to be always being hit by my own teams AA missles which i can't help because by the time the lock on sound is there the missle has already hit.
