I blew up 2APCs and a Tank last night with a buggy loaded with C4. I got 7 kills, and survived with not one scratch. Would've loved to see the expression on their faces when I came charging around the corner in my buggy, and they were getting in each others ways while trying to escape my furious anger

yeah, I didnt know there was a way to detonate each C4 like this. I posted in multiple forums and found thats it is indeed possible. What I posted was just a theory.

Can't believe some people think this is right. Comparing it to autoreload? Lol, what's wrong with you? I've never even been faced with this problem and I imagine it'd be quite easy to deal with, but admit it, it's lame, easy to fix, and should be patched.

arrrrgh!! your so right about this. That's a glitch they should of fixed in the patch since it is a legit glitch. completely fu*ks me off when you think you've got the kill only to see another pack drop at your feet. Then you have to scramble away...
So, normally people dont share this kinda stuff publicly. I think that they like the edge they get from knowing little tricks that others dont. Well, I think that the following trick is so cheap that everyone should know how its done. I posted the following in my clan's forum.
so normally, we are used to seeing someone bunny hop and use the m203. Well, yesterday, I found a new technique used with bunny hopping that is more whorish than ever. You may be surprised when I say it involves C4, but indeed it does. So this is what happens. You see a special forces kit bunny hopping towards you. He's holding C4. Hmmm, kinda odd. So you start shooting, etc. All of a sudden, he jump throws (to throw it farther) C4 at you. You take no heed. He still needs to switch to the detonator and you've got plenty of time to drop him before then. Well, to your surprise, the C4 blows up in mid air, killing you...and you are like, WTF!? What just happened? So you shrug it off. Well, then you notice that you are dying 24/7 from C4. An entire clan is bunny hopping and throwing C4 at you, detonating it prematurely. You are dying constantly and barely have any time to kill your attackers before you get C4'd...This is indeed one of the cheapest things ever, possibly more so than m203, because C4's area of affect is so much larger.
So, after getting owned and tired of BF2, I came back on after a break and tried to figure out how they were doing this. I threw the C4 and tried to switch to the detonator as soon as possible. Took forever to switch. There's no way you could blow the C4 in mid air at the rate. Then I got to my last C4. I threw it and my detonator emmediatly came out. OMG. Thats how they are doing it! So, here's the trick. You throw 4 (all but 1) of your C4 away and detonate them. When you throw your last C4, your detonator emmediatly comes out. There is no wait time. You could detonate the C4 right after it leaves your hand if you wanted to. So, now you can jump throw the C4 at people and detonate it in mid air, giving them no chance to escape. Well, you think that's fine right. They can only do it once. Well, here's where the teamwork comes in. Once you've thrown your last C4, you can A) go to a supply box and refill to 1 C4 or B) get a friendly clan member using the support kit to resupply you 1 C4 (i.e. he doesnt drop the supply blag, he just holds it till you get 1). And there you have it.
U R DA MAN!!!!! On that note ill go load up bf2 ... ofcourse I wont even think about playign the specs op class... heh this may make me put my noob tube down for a while.:laugh: :laugh:
What the hell is so whorish about it? I still can't believe some of you people. Quit creating your own little rules for how the game should be played. If you get your ass kicked by a guy throwing C4, adapt and overcome -- it's not an impossible tactic to defeat.
Don't forget that you're not the only person playing BF2. Some people play to kill, others play for points, others play to just to relax. Don't assume that everyone should obtain your gaming style just because you want to play your way.
Either purchase your own gaming server or wait until the realism mod is out. Otherwise, publicly saying this isnt a valid tactic isn't really going to change anything :-/
