When i got this yesterday i thought id be crying because i wouldn't be able to play it (My radeon 9800 broke on sunday). But lo and behold it plays great on a 32mb geforce 2. Perfectly smooth only slow down is when theres smoke in a confinded area. I'm a happy bunny!!!!! But ill definatly replay it with my new gfx card

its friken awsome although i can only have it on max settings, 2x AA, 1024x768. i would love it if i could go up more for more realistic graphics. anyways i took some screenies hope u like em

it really is something to behold. I've been able to get it going at beautiful framerates with everything cranked, 4xAA at 1280x1024.....it is really photorealistic!

How exactly do you get those framerates? There's nothing beautiful in my DirectX9 1280*1024 20fps. No matter what settings I use, really. In DirectX 7 1280*1024, all extra high, AF 2X it obviously runs at 100fps, but DirectX 7 isn't acceptable. And DirectX 9 doesn't seem too playable, which it should be(?)

I've got an Athlon64 3500+, 6800GT 256MB, Kingston 1GT DDR 400Mhz. :|:

Yes, you're right. I guess I'll finally have to give in and get that memory. It's just about worth the 118€ (=142USD)

Athlon64 4000, BFG 7800oc GTX, 2 gigs OCZ Platinum and let me re-phrase my scentence .....the Russian part I get those framerates but some of the levels on the british campaign are unplayable at those settings. Some SERIOUS optimization needs to be done with the Dx9 stuff in this game.

Everyone with a high-end system really seems to be struggling to get the performence they get out of games like Quake 4 and FEAR at those settings in this game.

I really loved the SP campaign mainly because most of it was spent with a Lee Enfield and Sten Gun, if you get my drift :p The ending credits were good fun to watch aswell, but would have been even better if we were allowed to play them.

Here's a screenshot I took of one of the British missions, it was good to stop at points and admire the sweet graphics:
