MAN!!! WTF!! This game runs like complete monkey crap on my system. No matter what setting I have it at...AA on/off, 1280x1024 or 800x600 it just chugs along. I have the latest video drivers and everything.

Very odd. I can run ot 1280x1024 and everything high as possible. Sorry I can't help you though...

I think I got a bad game cause I have installed it about 3 times so far and it never quite installs right or finishes. The second time I did it, it told me DX didn't install right and I should reinstall Direct X. 1st time it said there was a fatal error.

When you get to the end (or anyone) do you have to put the 1st disk back in or not. The first time it told me to put the first disk back in and the second time it stopped at the 6th disk. Also, everything in the file was blank.....and the first time, It didn't even show up in my "add/remove programs list....like it wasn't even installed.

i liked the gameplay but there were a few things i didnt like like health rengeration and the graphics didnt really impresse me, the were were to blocky and choppy, and the guys looked too waxy and clean, there fighting in Africa FFS they could atleast have dirt on the soliders:p , i still prefer BF2

Great game! well, i only played online. Graphics are alot better, gameplay is still the same (no healthpacks makes the game alot better believe it or not, no more searching for them) and the maps are well.. i dunno. The new ones don't seem very original. They seem a bit battlefield where buildings don't seem to fit. Still fun, though. I guess that's why they kept dawnville/carentan/brecourt/ and railyard. Wich, are still fun as hell with the graphical upgrade.

They added some new weapons, a shotty, and a new sub machine gun (with accuracy!) to replace those who don't whant to just spray with the ppsh.

I'd give cod2 a 9/10.

Everyone should go out and get it.

I really like the fact the bullets go where the crosshair is pointed not spraying left and right of target!

The game is l fun but with no Base Assault, BF2 will remain king of the video game world!

No tanks, jeeps, sprint button or big maps make this game sux!!
It the same game as DOD source with better accuracy!

What the hell where they thinking base assault was the most popular game mode!

If you haven't bought it, dont!

oh god no. The exclusion of sprint is bad enough, but no JEEPS OR TANKS! ARR.

they are probably copying EA and are gonna release an Exp Pack that has all those in.


I'm still buying it tho, i love CoD and UO way too much to not buy CoD2

If you have played COD multiplayer it is pretty much the exact same, with the addition of a couple new weapons and maps.

If you liked the first 2 COD and UO then you will most likely like 2.I love the original and I'm loving COD2. I'm telling ya the health issue is a non-factor.You get a head shot or a couple torso shots then you die.I like it better w/o tanks and vehicles kinda like the original.

WHAT THE HELL? sorry for caps.. but this deserved it. For one- this is a close combat game. Somthing bf2 isn't. I don't see you bitching about F.E.A.R. right now do i? United Offensive was half long range, half close combat. But, if you knew anything about callofduty and it's actuall fanbase with the CAL league you'd know that when uo was out, alot more people still played the first. This is also why cod:uo had no CAL I.

seriously - i wouldnt go out of your way to defend this game. people are entitled to their opinion and his does hit the nail on the head for alot of people (definitely sums up my thoughts).
