Do you not understand english? the general cod community didn't play with tanks and jeeps, with the add on that CAL and OGL and TWL leagues didn't play with tanks and jeeps aswell.
The devs of cod took them out for the community.

Oh and for proof, when uo came out more people still played the first cod. (and it's still happening now) And then people on uo were mostly playing s&d, tdm, dm, and ctf.
Maybe you and the rest of the minority should ask for a patch? wait? why isn't anyone else complaining about this? oh yea..
I just bought this game this afternoon. I see a few people in here say they have already played COD2 online. Well, I was wondering why I cant see any servers listed when I go to multiplayer? I am just sitting here twiddling my thumbs on singleplayer, which is ok, but I dont really like single player games too much anymore. So are there servers up for this game? Am I not hitting something in the menu that I should be hitting to get a list of servers? Any ideas?
And by the way, those talking about the game not running smoothly, I too have stutters with everything on high. Specs in my sig.
Ok, I figured it out, Im an idiot. I had it on local instead of internet. But I must say, I wont get much COD2 played. BF2 has spoiled me. Even with all the bugs, it is still in my opinion the best multiplayer FPS out there. COD2 will be fun just trying to get through all the single player campaigns, but I am a little disappointed in the multiplayer. Its mostly just run-gun-die, run-gun-die. There isnt much strategy involved and unless you have a microphone, you cant do shiat as far as coordinating with other players. Good game, but if you are hooked on BF2 like I am, dont waste your money.
seriously - i wouldnt go out of your way to defend this game. people are entitled to their opinion and his does hit the nail on the head for alot of people (definitely sums up my thoughts).
lets face it COD2 left alot to be desired
some ppl get annoyed when others bash a game because it didnt deliver what they were expecting when if they knew anything about the game in the first place they would know that was never going to happen.

its exactly the same as if i were to call BF2 a terrible game because it didnt have as much city building as sim city.
Havent tried online but the single player is awsome in my eyes. I dislike the health system somewhat but I dont care because the overall mood of the game is done extrememly well just like the first. The part where you crawl through a pipe to get to a certain area was done very well. As you move along nazis shoot threw the pipe around you, sometimes hitting you. The tank parts are back but its the british insted of the russian. Oh and the weapons are great. Lot more sniper rifles in the game as well.
I got Mario 4 coming out instead of improving Mario 3, I thought, since that more people played mario 1, I would make the game the same as mario 1 update the graphics!
When they should have upgraded mario 3/ CODUO with more features made a new game that is way better that the mario 3/CODUO!
Technology shouldn't step backwards like COD2 and they should have made a leap like BF2 made from BFV!
So, I'm a little disappointed with one my favorite game makers!
