I agree, don't make other players pay for your training time. If all you can do is slam into the enemy then get out of jet or go single player.

ummm back on subject err......ramming anything is really irritating and i demand bloodshed for rammers
Yea! And one more thing! I can't stand those guys who CAN'T MISS with the helo's TV missle! One of them actually gave me a Purple Heart once! And another thinks he is so bbbbaadddd, even his forum signature yells pretentious. I did hear he was money in the jet too though. So... can't miss with helo missle and money in the jet. What a show off he must be! Ever met a guy like that?? Some guys just love to rub in how good they are..."everyone look at me, I'm so good. I'm a fancy-boy doing loops in my SU".
Peace bro. << take note: only part of this post I really meant
[SF] TheDR #32 (and climbing) Leaderboard Helo Pilot <wink>
(graphical effect from mixing bold and italics not fancy Photoshop job. don't tell me I can't mix it up with the fancy boy!)
Re: Easy way to destroy choppers with jets (no, not kamikaze)
just practice on single player, operation clean sweep has a fighter bomber.
I used to suck so i got in plane in sp, after about 4 hours, i went on mp, i wasnt pro, good or anything but i could hold my own and kill 2 or 3 people for every time i died. Autocannon should be renamed magic gun, it has very high rate of fire and is very good against people and heli's.
Re: Easy way to destroy choppers with jets (no, not kamikaze)
Come to think of it- any helo pilot who flies their helicopter so steadily as to enable ANYONE to ram them like that is silly.
Though it's not very realistic that a jet can survive helicopter rotors chopping into them (let alone having to get through the gyro mechanism as well)- I think this is a flaw in BF2 to be fixed.
It is indeed n00balicious. I do noob things sometimes like kill one person by ramming them with a carrier chopper- but thats for jokes only- never for actual gameplay.
Ah what can you do? noob happens. The best you can do is use thy superior skill and outdo the noobs.

Road kills are not only when you run or ram someone....
A "Road Kill" is credited when For example:
You fire rockets at an APC and it doesn't blow up right away, the person in the APC jumps out and then is killed by the explosion of the APC.
You drop bombs on a tank, it catches fire, they jump out and are killed by the blast.
Instead of saying
Lugal317 [F35B] Joeblow
It will say
Lugal317 [T90] Joeblow
because the explosion from his T90 is what killed him
That is a "road kill". Just thought I'd clear that up.

first level: crash right after take off
second level: can manage to fly to kamakazi
third level: shoot missiles
fourth level: use guns
so he is a pathedic noob compared to you, but you are still a noob yourself.
Getting back on topic, how is risking crashing into him, and lose half of your health the "easy" way to kill a chopper? Line up from its side, shoot the cockpit with main gun, kills it in 3 seconds every time.
What about crashing at take off while letting loose with cannons & missles, inadvertently dropping bombs and taking out your own blackhawk & the other noobs wanting their turn in YOUR jet.......
Re: Easy way to destroy choppers with jets (no, not kamikaze)
I haven't been in the air really any since v1.03 (took a long break.) Back then, myself and a friend would put ourselves on Anti-BH duty. He would go Spec Ops and load our chopper up with C4, I'd go Eng and sit in the back. We'd come down and hover over a BH as they capped a flag and more often then not, they would ram us trying to take off (which I would then repair us back to full.) The better pilots could maneuver out from under us, at which point we both bailed and off went the C4.
Got called a lot a lot of things I can't post here, but the irony was just too damn funny. Here they are exploiting one of the most unbalanced vehicles in the game (at that time,) and they're mad at US for using a "cheap" tactic.
.50cals still seem to be the best way to down a chopper, and despite the nerfing, I've still seen the BH used effectively for it's intended purpose, transport. Just the other night, I MEC squad of clan'ers (it was their server) on Mashtur were cleaning up using the transport chopper to move around the map. They weren't swooping in and capping flags with it. They would either jump out at low altitude, or just land nearby and use it as an armored spawn point and gun emplacment.
Interesting to see how many of the tactics in this thread have changed as things have been patched and nerfed.
Re: Easy way to destroy choppers with jets (no, not kamikaze)
One time I was flying and I was being chased by another jet and I accidentally hit a low flying Cobra and I bounced off the top of it and he smacked into the ground and blew up it was funny as hell.
