Easy way to destroy choppers with jets (no, not kamikaze)

I found an easy way to take out choppers with jets, without wasting any ammo on them.

If you 'ram' them, but only hit their rotor, the chopper will be destroyed, and you'll lose only about half of your health (and 2-3 passes over the airstrip/carrier repairs that anyway).
Especially handy if your spawnpoint with the airfield has been taken over, so that you can't re-arm.
(and of course, against full BlackHawks :evil: )

It takes some practise, but if you're able to do this everytime without really ramming them, their choppers will be useless, making it much easier for your team to win.

(some people will probably say that it's easy to destroy choppers with the cannon, but try that against a good chopper pilot, they'll be able to evade easily most of the time)

i was a bit puzzled the first time i did it(2 weeks ago)...it was hilarous... i kept doing it to the same ppl (oman...) i wanted to keep it a secret.. but o well the word is out..

hmm ive tried that b4 as i was about to land..and i bounced off the top..stalled...then went down and crashed..

yeah.. the first time i tried it i was actually running away from anotherfigher on my tail... i tought... *this guy is gonna take me down.. might as well take som1 down.. n i saw a blackhawk, tried to kamikaze but lag made me touch the blades.. lol i kiled the full blackhawk n actually got away from the other fighter.. ti was funny

Looks! They are more likely to hit friendly aircraft than enemy. I use my gun only now and have no fear of missles. If missiles did there job then there would be no reason for this post. Unless you have a better way?

There are 4 levels of flying skill
first level: crash right after take off
second level: can manage to fly to kamakazi
third level: shoot missiles
fourth level: use guns

so he is a pathedic noob compared to you, but you are still a noob yourself.


Getting back on topic, how is risking crashing into him, and lose half of your health the "easy" way to kill a chopper? Line up from its side, shoot the cockpit with main gun, kills it in 3 seconds every time.

Geniuses like you made me stop flying in attack chopper. No skills to shoot other aircrafts, no skills to shoot choppers with guns/missiles, so you go and ram them. You'd probably ram tanks as well, only if you found a way not to get killed yourself.

Bunny hoppers and cheaters are way below "players" like you, on my top-****list...

I mostly end up with idiots in a chopper (either as a gunner or as a pilot), and on top of that I get chased by pilots like you.

Really makes gaming experience fun.

I've also noticed that unreal amount of idiots, without plane flying skills, go to servers where planes are not flown (so noone chases them) and then ram choppers (of course, he didn't ram me - he "killed me with missiles, but he then died because my wreckage was in his way").

Hope some new trendy games come out, so these creatures move there...

How about you actually read the whole post, before you start flaming....:

Especially handy if your spawnpoint with the airfield has been taken over, so that you can't re-arm.

And any passenger in the chopper who knows what he's doing will immediately take the pilot seat anyway.

Not really i use the gun but the missiles are there to be used and might as well be and unless you slow down alot to hit a chopper and kill it is a bitch i find the gun far better for taking out apcs, transport vehicles, men and planes.

If you're in the F35, you can hover above a supply crate
But if you can't repair/rearm anyway, there's no reason to stay in the air anyway, so why not take out 2 choppers this way beore bailing? :p
It helps your team more than just bailing out.


And the people who call others noobs usually are noobs themself..
