Thats right my little boy is rocking in BF2 now...and he just turned 4 on the 17th

Hes not great mind you, but ive seen his little ass get kills!

Originally he woudl play single player mode. Right across form were I sit and play is the TV I have his gamecube hooked up to, so after a few days of me playign BF2 and him playing Ultimate Spiderman and Hulk he started buggin me saying 'lemme play the army game!"
So I set him up on single player and woudl say.."kill the reds". Took a while for him to grasp it so to say..alot of TK's and alot of ammo/explosives wasted (he had it in his mind everything coudl be destroyed, even walls). After a week or 2 of single player games he then started buggin me "I want your more guns, I want your guns!!". I thougt "no way Im letting him get 10000 deaths and a few Tk's on my account!"..then I remembered, my first account "Thirdeyepry" had like 8k points, and thanks to the new poitns system he has all but 2 unlocks
So now my 4yr old son is running around with his fave the G36c, and yes he's better then i expected..well nto great, usually he gets 2-4 kills, 2-5 team points...and 15+ deaths..lol...tho he tends to Jihad himself a little to much :laugh: but to my amazement NO TK's!!! I mean most adults cant do that lolololol

So if your on the feild and you get killed by Thirdeyepry...you got pwned by a 4 year old lololololol.

It's a game. On top of that he is getting guidance from his parents while playing the game. And at that age I don't think they think of killing as .. killing. More like shooting a paper target and hitting it. Besides, I don't believe in sheltering young ones from reality. Better to teach and guide them how to deal with reality..

Lol thats awesome. Not to offend your parenting style, but I grew up playing video games and I wouldn't want my kid do that as it had effected me in a lot of ways...One would be bad eyes and another never really getting into any sports.

There are ways of increasing a child's awareness of death and violence without directly exposing him to it. I have no issues with the mature teenage player but this is just too much. You had better keep a close eye on his behaviour because I doubt causation is extremely well developped at such a young age, and accidents happen at the drop of a hat. Make sure he understands by asking that he paraphrase your warnings and explanations: if you ever have doubts, please cut him off from the game and any other source of violence.

That's pretty sad if you ask me. At 4 years old your child should be learning the basics of everyday skills, such as speech, reading, and writing. Not learning how to play a game - expecially since BF2 is extremely violent.
