i think all that needs to happen is if you kill the vehicle but the person gets out right before it blows you should get 1 point for destroying enemy assets, its fair and it takes too long for vehicles to respawn for people to exploit it

Besides the fact that I don't agree with puglous ... (who really does?) ...
Enforcing such a rule would be next to impossible. The all-chat would be filled with he-said-she-said crap. Also, if an enemy bails out of armor or any ground-based vehicle, it shouldn't be that hard to finish them off (most of the time).
Puglous, it's good to bring up such subjects for debate, and you do have some interesting ideas, but the name-calling is a bit out of line...
Lastly, it would be cool to see puglous' "rules" in a server, but I think that the very nature of BF2 goes against it in every way. The BF series has always had instant in-and-out access to vehicles, and bailing has always been a part of it. Yes, it may be frustrating, but that's just how BF is. :)

RE: M4guy624: Bad idea ... people would camp the hell out of any vehicle, be it tanks, IFVs, or buggies... basically, it'll never happen... :)

Bailing out is part of the game, and sensible....
I'm more astonished that I've just been banned from the Multiplay.co.uk:Bagged and Tagged server for typing "wtf"..!!

I honestly didn't think anything which walked upright could get this stupid. Why don't YOU go get some skill and WIN vehicle fights. That takes a lot more skill than it does to run away. Anyway, you guys are obviously just reading what you want to because you know how badly you'd all get owned if losing a vehicle fight forced you to die (like in infantry fighting) and how much you're scores would suck if the people who did the hard work of getting someone out of their vehicle got kill points instead the people who do the easy work of shooting down the driver/pilot who exited the vehicle.
I think I'll go talk to a tree, I'm sure it will listen more.
lmao! i still don't know what he's trying to say...
at 1st he bitches about people who leave a damaged vehicel should be banned. then he says thats not it. tell us in plain english what you are trying to say...obviously if this many people how no ****ing clue what your tater head is trying to say, then it must be you.

What's that noise? Oh, it must be the WHAAAAAmbulance. Surely you don't think this approach is going to win people over around here do you? Ugghhh.
Plain and simple. If it's still moving, shoot it. Any rules that go against this simple edict should not be allowed, including the "he's almost dead, let me have a point please" rule. *SIGH*
